It will only get worse, as he continues to neglect evolving or changing in any way. There's a reason he had to crawl back to Italy to a Roma side who finished seventh, after being sacked by Tottenham ****ing Hotspur during his failed redemption arc.

Until he realizes he's not the manager he was (and won't be again until he changes), and more importantly than the game evolving, accepting that the players are not the same as when he was successful (not soldiers who blindly follow your orders and will run through a wall for you because you said to), he'll continue fall into irrelevancy.

On the flipside most managers "ostracize" players or freeze players out. Lampard did it with Marcus Alonso and Rudiger. They're sitting 4th right now behind two teams in Napoli and Milan that are on fire in the league.

The Zlatan goal against Roma is the first time I think I've seen a player laying down behind the wall watch helplessly as they watched a goal be scored. Amazing.

It only being 0-2 and the red card has slightly masked the absolute steamrolling of Roma by Milan for the majority of the game. It's not a novel observation, but Zlatan doing what he's doing at 40 is ridiculous.

Well, that was about a great escape for Roma at the end. Really fun match. I feel like whenever I catch a top clash in Serie A I'm never disappointed—good streak going.

The streak continued today with the derby. Great match. I feel like there’s still this view, especially among those who primarily watch the EPL that Italian football is slow and boring as a whole. So not true.

The All Other Leagues/Competitions Discussion Thread

PSG midfielder Aminata Diallo has been arrested for hiring men to attack and injure her PSG and France teammate, Kheira Hamraoui, in a bid to get more playing time.

                      That is wild!

EDIT: It was a full Tonya Harding. The men pulled Hamraoui out of her vehicle and punched her and hit her legs with an iron bar. FFS!

Just read a few articles. That is insane. She was in the car with her when the men dragged them out of the car. And proceeded to only beat up Kheira Hamraoui. That is taking the Tonya Harding crazy to another level.

It looks a tad brisk in Edmonton for CAN/MEX tonight.

We're up 1-0 at halftime on the frozen tundra.

Edit: Win 2-1. One of the biggest wins in Canadian's men history. Top of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying group.

You're not the only one. It wasn't that long ago, like 2013 and 2014, the national team went 16 consecutive games without a win and had a mind boggling goalless streak of over 900 minutes. We had losses to the likes of Martinique and Mauritania.

Four of our final six qualifying games are on the road in 2022 so it's still going to be a huge battle to get one of the three top WC spots.
