Chelsea will play Al Hilal at the Club World Cup on Wednesday in the Semi-Finals. Odion Ighalo and Mathias Pereira (formely of West Brom) play for Al Hilal.

I was going to mention this earlier and forgot about it. Why the hell do you have your best PK taker in Salah going 5th? He didn't even get to take it in the end. No way I would do that. Jamie Carragher has echoed the same thing in the Daily Mail. It has happened before to Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal vs Spain. Just madness.

I thought about that too (Ronaldo not taking one) on Friday when United lost on PKs in the FA Cup. United had him going 4th.

I think it was the way they just dominated Real Madrid from the opening whistle that made it bad. Add to that Uncle Carlo's tactics were just atrocious. Modric in the False 9? Militao, your best CB at RB. Rodrygo starting? He's not good at all. Being without Benz and Mendy to an extent just made the whole team look terrible.

On the flipside, Barca have adapted to Xavi better than anyone could have imagined. As much as I hate them, they've been must watch ever since he took over and especially after Auba and Traore have come. They just got back Depay too so their attack is loaded. Pedri has been on a different level since. Frenkie finally looks like the player everyone thought he would be when he came from Ajax. Gavi looks like the next Iniesta, Auba has guys behind him that can put it on a plate for him although that left-footed chip they originally disallowed was classy.

Now I don't know where the money came from, probably maxed out all their cards, but if I was Halaand I'd have my eye on them. He probably would keep up his insane scoring rate.
