1-0 is definitely OK to overcome for a team like City, but you really have to question why Pep started both Sane and KDB on the bench. And waited so long to bring them on.

That Liverpool/Porto game is a great advert for diving and embellishment. This is exactly why it's so much more complicated than it's often made out to be.

Salah goes to ground on that chance in the first half and he gets a penalty, instead he stays on his feet and nothing happens. Then later, Danilo decides not to make a meal of the Salah challenge, and Salah avoids a deserved red card. If Danilo rolls around a bit then Salah almost certainly goes off there.

Refs approach needs to change or something.

Yeah it was almost like he forgot he had an Ace-King up his sleeve.

Still not a terrible result for them considering how much Spurs like to bottle things.
