I honestly don’t care that we finished below them. It’s not an achievement to finish above them, so they shouldn’t treat it as one to finish above Arsenal. Plus, we had a historically bad season and they finished a point ahead of us. Amazing.

I hope they get through qualifying. I’m going to love watching Arsenal on Saturdays and knowing we have full weeks to prepare for matches, can use a smaller squad, etc.

Spurs have had a miserable season too and finished above Arsenal still. I agree with you, I know we are in the minority for fans but I could care less about finishing above rivals if we are both out of the top four.

I did find it funny when Arsenal were winning and Spurs were losing, a lot of St Tottingham memes were retweeted and then after Spurs won it was all "Don't care about finishing above them anyways."

Gotta loves the mentality of a fan.

Please, for the love of GOD Newcastle, buy Willock

I don't care if you have to match our record transfer fee, just get him in. He fits in nicely with our system (or lack there of) and seems to really enjoy being here. He pairs up nicely going forward with Callum Wilson, Saint-Maximin, and Almiron. Changed the entirety of our season, we finished 12th almost completely because of Willock.

Since he's been punching bag since he wasn't given a fair shot at United, have to give a mention to David Moyes for finishing 6th.

He has to be in the running for Manager of the season if not the outright winner.

Last season 16th place, 39 points just 10 wins. This year most points in PL history for them with 65.

Nice for Mark Noble to end his career with European football next year.

I see Azpilicueta has had his red card rescinded.

I didn’t realize the amount of panic and outrage United losing the Europa League Final would generate. Generally pleased by that lol.

Kerik, to put you on the spot since you’re the only United fan now that everyone scared poor Leon away.... thoughts on Ole? Time to go? Stay and back him?

Fan will be unhappy, but if you were canning OGS, it should've been solidified before losing a random final, to random penalties. Cup Finals are always crapshoots, outside of getting embarrassed, I don't think they should effect the job status that much.

It wasn’t only that they lost on penalties which I agree is basically a crap shoot but it’s the way they lost. After they scored the goal they failed to get a shot on target, he seemed to save his subs for a penalty shootout which is nuts, subbed off Greenwood when Rashford was horrible, etc...

I’ve seen United fans split on Ole. Some are saying give him a good window while others are saying that this match is representative of larger issues with Ole. Let’s not forget that’s the 7th best team in a historically weak La Liga.

With some of the coaches available I’d definitely make some calls behind Ole’s back.
