Hopefully teams are mostly following guidelines so that the cases remain isolated to a few at a time. There will be cases, but I don't see a shutdown of the season without government intervention. I.E. a nationwide stay at home order due to skyrocketing spread in the general population.

I do have to say that sending Moyes and the two players home from the stadium and then continuing ahead with the match is a risk.

West Ham fans might argue that sending Moyes home is the safest option.

        Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread

It sounds like any ideas of allowing fans back into stadiums in October have been scrapped.

"Prime Minister Boris Johnson suggested it could be up to six months before fans were allowed into stadiums."

Premier League clubs consider alternative ways of letting season ticket holders access matches not due to be broadcast live on television.

Sports are told not to expect fans to be able to return to watch live events in England until the end of March at the earliest.

having fans back in the stadium this early was a pipe dream if they intended on trying to be responsible about it

should've expected nothing less than that clearance by World Class defender Wes Morgan.

I just went back through some of the old EPL threads to see if I could find the receipt of a member saying that Wes Morgan and Robert Huth were "World Class" centrebacks, but ended up crying at the fact we all held such high hopes for what would eventually be our nightmare in VAR.

Definitely not a red, can't believe he even got a yellow, game's gone soft.

Should be a yellow to Tammy for diving.

Yeah, I wasn't naming them since they appear to no longer post here.
