Literally anything can happen in that group now. Real were probably hoping Gladbach would win that and have passage to the knockouts wrapped up. Now they're going to get Glabach's best shot.Comment

So, Fred should be off (if not a red, two yellows) an McTominay should also now have a yellow for his step on Neymar's ankle. Yeah, yeah, he didn't mean it. Right, because I always step backwards onto people pretending that I have no idea they're there.

Football fans in general largely seem to want 100% proof of something or there is no possible way you could say a player did something intentionally.
It's so easy to just play that off like he didn't mean to, but even in Sunday leagues players do stuff like that all the time. There is zero chance McTominay did that on accident, but of course you could never prove that, which is kind of the whole point isn't it?
Professional players do stuff all the time on "accident", because they know they will get away with it because intent is so hard to prove.Comment
