I think for Liverpool supporters it actually started a year earlier, before the takeover, when Liverpool collapsed in the final two weeks losing to City and then Chelsea to reach 4th, which at the time took you to the qualifying rounds of the CL

Then Chelsea got the money which was just a slap in the face and Liverpool’s best players at the time were being talked about as leaving (Gerrard to Chelsea and Owen to Madrid) so the resentment built from there

The actual football side of it was a couple years after it started from Liverpool’s end lol but it was definitely one sided right up until the 2005 semifinal

Yeah people always think I’m crazy for hating Liverpool more than Arsenal but I just assume those people never watched Chelsea in the 2000s at all

I don't think Brav is crazy because he's basically me but a Chelsea fan. We respect and encourage each other's pettiness.

For example, another reason I want Liverpool to beat Chelsea in a third cup final in a row is so that he has to deal with that half of his family again for a month or two.

Eh, my point is that money is the answer, regardless. A club didn't sign a player they should? Look at the agent—either they have no history with them, a bad history, or they don't want to pay them the extortion rate that is required.
