^ Yeah, good call by Arteta at not risking Ben White. No sense at 3-0.

They now have a back 3 of Cedric, Tavares and Tomiyasu.

It's still in Arsenal’s hands like Kreb says, but Everton at home on the last day will be tricky IF the Toffees need something from it.

Tierney and Dean what an absolute referee dream team.

Only way it could be better is some combination of Dowd/Mariner/Probert as ARs

Think you guys just need to hope Everton is already safe heading into the final game, Newcastle is currently on top 4 level form so that won't be easy. Though I guess it would be very Spurs to win the NLD and then lose to an already relegated Burnley.

Just you watch, i can complain about anything.

feels weird that the Aguero winner was 10 years ago today though, between that and the Leicester/Watford championship playoff(which was 8 years ago, yesterday) i really started to love the game as a whole, and now spend so much time and money trying to help grow the game up. The thrill of it all.

Aguero goal is easily one of the craziest single moments I've been able to see in this sport.

Leicester title was wild too, but obviously not just a single moment.

                    Hahahahahahahaha.

We can't complain about the penalty decision? It was absurd. Consider what does not get called in the box in terms of contact, and that gets called because Son completely buys it? Yeah, we can complain about that.

Know what else we can complain about? The second Spurs goal came from a corner that was awarded after a free kick. How was that free kick awarded to Spurs? Well, Hojbjerg, lunged at the ball, completely missed and ended up stamping on Saka's foot, so a foul was called on Saka.

Yeah, that's right, an obvious yellow card was instead given as a foul against Arsenal, giving Spurs a dangerous free kick was was cleared out for a corner from which they then scored. Poor defending on the corner no doubt, but a tackle which could break a bone in a foot was ignored and given Spurs' way.

Arsenal played poorly (but did start well), Holding lost his entire head, but the penalty was absurd and changed the game. Kane wasn't even in it at that point. We would've hard to work hard for a draw even 11 v 11, and would've been fortunate to get that. Also, Eddie dived and should've been booked early—obviously.

However, saying Arsenal can't complain about anything is the type of reductive noise Gary Neville has been drooling out the last two years—come on.

That's a penalty all day though. If that foul happens anywhere outside of the box it's given as a foul. We all complain about the two sets of rules for fouls inside & outside of the box but if we want consistency then Tierney got it right.

More blame should go on Arteta though for putting Holding up against the worst of the Arsenal CBs WITH Cedric as cover instead of playing Tomiyasu who fared well vs Son in the first match. Not only does he put him as RCB but it's clear he says to get touch-tight to the best counter-attacking player in the league who just roasted him and riled him up to the point where a veteran player loses his cool and gets sent off in the biggest derby match between these two in a long time.

Me personally, I don't think what Son did was worthy of a red card. Holding though, IMO, got off lucky. That should have been a red card, season over.

Slight contact in the back that makes a player throw their legs into the air to sell a foul is a foul anywhere else and also a penalty? Okay.

It was a **** call. Arsenal were ****, but that was a **** call.

Son wasn’t even getting to the ball, whether or not **** Cedric was there.

Holding is a red, I’m not arguing that, but the foul on Saka that was called a foul by Saka could also be a red.

Cedric knew what he was doing. He was caught on the wrong side and backed into him trying to make it look like he doesn’t know Son is behind him.

If you’re argument is that it’s not consistently given and to be given in the biggest of derby’s makes it the wrong call i wouldn’t disagree.

I would just like to see it given consistently because I think it’s the right call and should be the norm.

I’d argue that he tried to impede him far, far more than he actually did (he can do very little well). He made slight contact, and Son sold the hell out of it.

Of course I want consistency, and I also want a player to be punished for overcommitting and stamping on a players foot. I know, I’m ****ing insane.

Chelsea lucky not to be behind. Luis Diaz is having a field day up against Chalobah early on. Now Thiago Silva is down. Great save by Mendy with his feet.
