United have a net debt of £494.8m. That is pretty insane. I know a lot of big clubs run with a debt and still make money. But that number is ****ing insane.

Chelsea owes Abramovich like £1.5 Billion. I don’t pretend to know what that means in net debt, but it certainly makes any sale complicated.

Roman has also said he doesn't intend to collect on those loans, either way multi billion dollar sales are never easy

            Wasn't Barcelona's debt like over $1.5 Billion?

I see reports of a lot of smoke around Chelsea being sold, but all I see are the surface level reports.

I'd be interested if one of the Chelsea dudes could give a bit more insight as to how likely this is and what the feeling around the club is at the moment.

Not a Chelsea dude, but I'd say there are more than surface level reports as of now. Yesterday an MP stated Abramovich has been, or trying to sell off property quickly.

He won't avoid sanctions, which is why he's moving quickly. No matter his love for the club, he's not an idiot, and he'll get his money out now before it's too late. At this point I'd be shocked if he didn't sell the club, or try everything in his power to do so very, very soon.

Tbh, no one really knows because Roman had always been very quiet and secretive. We know that he’s been receiving bids in the 2.5 billion range for years but he turned them down. He also transferred a lot of his assets from other ventures directly into his name before the invasion so there’s that.

I know he’s also been called out lately in the UK Parliament and the US announced that it’s going after the oligarchs too so he’s getting hit from every side financially. I think the transfer of the club into the charity and trip to Ukraine as an ambassador for peace (how crazy is that when you think about it) so maybe that was his PR move to get ahead of this and show some good will [emoji2375].

He/they valued the club at 4 billion which was/is higher than the Swiss/American group expected so it appears that they’re trying to round up the cash but like I told you on twitter, that price could be an attempt to buy time until this whole “thing” is over.

Basically, a lot of uncertainty and Tuchel got really agitated (rightfully so) in yesterdays presser when he was asked 3-4 questions in a row about it.

We’ll have to just sit back and watch how this plays out and hope for peace which is of course, by far the most important thing at play here.

Well there it is from the man’s mouth himself. Chelsea have released a statement that the club will be sold. End of an era.

                      Minamino with another cup goal.

EDIT: Make that 2. What a hit!

                        Survive and advance.

Quarterfinal draw is tomorrow before the Everton-Boreham Wood match.

EDIT: All the big clubs avoided each other again.

How did Dwight McNeil miss the net there?

All Burnley's good 1st half display ruined in the span of about 4 minutes. James with a great finish after nearly snapping McNeil's ankles. And now 2 quick fire Havertz goals. Imploded.

Ivan Toney with a hat trick. Huge result coming for Brentford.

Great game so far. I honestly think they guess sometimes on those offside lines.
