Arsenal has played well, all I ask is for correct application of the rules.
Oliver is one of the refs that is usually pretty decent too. He’s been complete *** todayComment

Re: 2022-23 English Football Thread
That very weird moment when Oliver spoke to Arteta and Klopp was apparently about a comment said by a player on the pitch, and when asked about it after Klopp said he couldn’t speak about it.
It seems…moderately clear that it was something Henderson said to Gabriel, and whatever was said by whoever, it’s now with the FA.
Possibly spicy.Comment

Yeah, I’ve seen the video and something was definitely said there.
Not a very fun season so far and now TAA and Diaz both seem to have picked up injuries. Next up, City. Yay!Comment

You should let the PL know that because that's the not explanation they gave yesterday. They went with the proximity thing. Just looked at the video and it is possible that it hits his chest, but you can't really tell? Not that any of this matters, lolLast edited by ImTellinTim; 10-10-2022, 04:21 PM.Comment

Tradishun!
But really it’s not any different than coming back from a normal international break and most players will have been back way earlier.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 10-11-2022, 04:17 PM.Comment

Re: 2022-23 English Football Thread
They had several players on loan who helped them gain promotion that left at the end of the season, but they also chose to sell several players, send some on loan, and also had several at the end of their contracts.
They made signings because they needed to, but that's the issue—they shouldn't have been in that position to begin with.
It's not exactly the typical sign a load of new players because we were promoted, but it's not far off and it's the kind of short-term thinking that leads to short-term top-flight campaigns.Comment
