Out of the Carabao and FA Cups and you get to miss the first knockout round of Europa. You’re on pace for 100pts and this City team isn’t capable of running off 12-13 straight wins. United and Newcastle are still 10+ pts off the top.

Arsenal have easily been the best team in England all year. It’s time for y’all to start acting like a big club again that’s expected to win things.

Arsenal haven’t took 3 points up at Goodison Park since 2017.

        50pts from 20 matches—so, nope.

That silly response is all that's worth typing for now. I could get into underlying metrics and who has over-performed and under-performed, but why bother.

Maths weren’t mathing this morning [emoji2363] but the point still stands.

It’s a 2 horse race between y’all and City. Losing at a place that you traditionally struggle at doesn’t make your title challenge any less realistic. You’re still slight favorites over City who travel to a stadium this weekend they’ve never even scored at. City is a good side, far better than my Blues but this ain’t the same City team from the past 5 years. Rico Lewis and Ake as starting fullbacks? Silva doesn’t wanna be there. Stones can’t stay fit. Foden is having a down year, etc…

This is the best Arsenal team since 2003-04 and you’re most likely going to eclipse the Invincibles point total.

The title is there for the taking. You pass every test, the eyes and metrics. Even your dropped points haven’t been like you were played off the park.

I get it…most of your Arsenal supporting experience has been about dealing with disappointment but Liverpool fans have already claimed the “big club …against all odds mentality ”.

Next y’all will be talking about net spend [emoji23]

I won’t end up disappointed. I want y’all to bottle it but I truly believe that you won’t.

If you end up winning it… hats off. You’ll truly have deserved it and have every right to throw it in my face since we’re in the mud.

Casemiro might be the dumbest player I’ve seen in a long time. Just an utterly unnecessary red card. Idiot.

If you’ve watched and watch this side, you knew this result, and more like it were coming.

I didn’t and I still don’t. The title is City’s to lose, as it always has been.

Very, very predictable and weak performance.
You might as well be more positive, because if/when they do win it it's not going to somehow make it more meaningful or impressive if it comes after months of doubt and cynicism. Just stick with the "we aren't even supposed to be here yet" line. Then you are good either way.

That’s essentially my entire point, but no matter how I’ll frame it, it would be met with a chorus of ‘BUT YOU ARE SO EXPECT IT AND DEMAND IT’ or something to that effect. When I say ‘serious title contenders’, that’s what I mean by serious. I’m not denying the league position or points total—I’m denying the idea that we should win it, or expect to win it. Arsenal have been over-performing based on underlying metrics—we shouldn’t even be in first and with the squad we have, we shouldn’t even be in second or third.

I’m loving this season, but that doesn’t mean I have to expect us to win the title or be disappointed if we don’t, regardless of our current league position.

That is my issue—that just because Arsenal are in a position to win, I’m supposed to demand or expect they do it. **** that—I’m enjoying watching the team, and whatever expectations I have for them that continue to allow me to enjoy the season is up to me.

I’m just sticking with the funniest possible end to this season is United winning the title.

Watching Kane’s Spurs record-breaking goal on Telemundo made it about 1,000 times better.

Watxhing Grealish whine and flop around for 90 minutes is annoying, but much more satisfying when they take 0 points

                              Man that was triggering lmao.

Took me back to Hazard times when teams would just rotationally foul him all game and the refs just never punished it at all.

He sure did. And whined every single time when he would leave his legs stuck in to help the contact or hurdle himself through the air. I’m just so surprised he survived such a vicious attack so much all game.

I won’t change. Been in or around the sport for the better part of almost 5 decades. I’m too stuck in.
