Re: 2022-23 UEFA Competitions Thread
I don't think I've been that enraged over a match in quite some time. We've had bad losses, but this one really makes me mad since the video referee who had access to watching video and could watch it multiple times and speed it up and slow it down decided that was, indeed, a penalty.
In what world!?
A 0-0 draw would've been a fair result without ref ****housery.Comment

Really atrocious refereeing there honestly.
That being said, United having shady penalty decisions go against them at Old Trafford definitely feels a bit…poetic?Comment

Graham Potter starts with a back 4 for Chelsea.
This is his first ever experience at a Champions League game. He has not even been in attendance to a CL match prior to tonight.Comment

Random questions: Why does it seem like crowds are more “live” in other countries compared to English Crowds? Like I watch these crowds in Germany, Italy, Spain and it just seems like they’re more louder, even as visiting fans against English Clubs.#RespectTheCultureComment

There are certain English clubs that always have loud fans. Crystal Palace is one.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 09-14-2022, 04:41 PM.Comment

Re: 2022-23 UEFA Competitions Thread
Because the fire that fuels English football fans is resentment and the failure of their neighbor above all else lol. Other countries treat their home matches like a festival/church, while in England it is heckling and rooting for failure that feeds the joy. It's the only country I can think of that LOUDLY cheers when an away player misses the target by a mile and makes a fool of himself. Mostly talking about the bigger clubs here.Comment

Haaland on City is basically just the Soccer version of Brady to Moss and for those who watched NFL during that time, we remember how unfair that combo was.#RespectTheCultureComment

What's...hilarious is how anyone though the wouldn't score absolute buckets of goals. I don't believe anyone who thought that didn't watch him the last several seasons, or watch City create chance after chance, year after year, without anyone to finish them. Which is why it's hilarious.Comment

Hey KG, your comments about Firmino vs. Nunez have aged like a fine milk LMAO
Bobby's about the only player who has showed up this season so far
So of course Darwin scores - assisted by Firmino though
Salah 5 min hat trick lolLast edited by ImTellinTim; 10-12-2022, 04:44 PM.Comment

How does Barca only have 3 points in group play?
Thought they’d at least be able to get 6 from this group.#RespectTheCultureComment
