That was actually the final against the very same Sevilla where Liverpool scored first then the referees ignored Sevilla blatantly handling the ball in the penalty area - twice. It likely would have been 3-0 and game over in the first half.

I’m also still mad at Alberto Moreno’s performance in that match. He was such a spaz.

The only thing I remember about the semi final matches with Villarreal was Firmino sending Soldado into another dimension with a spin move lol

Forgot about this one too lmao.

Wasn’t Villarreal the one Liverpool was winning 3-0 at halftime and Villarreal came back?

That’s the one I was thinking of, where Villarreal had like two players sent off and I think maybe another handball no call.

We played them in the semis of the Europa League in Klopp’s first half season. First leg was 1-0 to Villarreal, 2nd leg was won 3-0 at Anfield.

Are you think of last year’s Chanpions League semifinals? Liverpool won at Anfield 2-0 in the first leg. Then Villarreal scored 2 in the first half to tie it. They then proceeded to melt down as Liverpool scored 3 2nd half goals. Capoue then finally got sent off for probably his 5th yellow card offense. He grabbed an official at least twice with no repercussions btw

West Ham supporters are raining objects down on Fiorentina players taking corners. Fiorentina player was cut in the head by something they threw. That should be multiple European games where West Ham doesn't get to have supporters in the stadium. Clowns.

City tried their best to choke that and Inter just didn’t capitalize

Inter is a good team but pretty weak for a UCL finalist. City losing would have been a disaster.

Pep just keeps building up his insane list of accomplishments. Can't even be mad at him. He was way more annoying at Barca and Bayern honestly lol. Doing it in England is a different level.

Feels like it's time for Saudia Arabia to offer him $300 million to manage there. That's the only way we're not going to see City continue to dominate.
