Arsenal and Liverpool: Yep, no red, good cause.

FA Cup branding: Well this is awkward

Liverpool was there for the taking in the first half, feel like Arsenal are gonna regret that.

One shot on target and Liverpool hit the crossbar.

Yep—the amount of times we threatened and then just...whimpered, was far too many.

        The halftime xG disparity...gulp.

I'm torn between desperately wanting no replay, and being good with it because hey, more football.

Obligatory mention that Raya is better than Ramsdale at dealing with that ball.

Nice to see Klopp isn't afraid to throw in a few youngsters in the second half.

The Bradley kid played well. He got some help with Martinelli who was beating Trent for fun but he dealt with every ball over the top

As of now the only thing you can count on Martinelli for is beating his defender seemingly whenever he wants to. After that? Not much. Finishing and chance creation have entirely left his body recently.

Dropping out of the cup doesn't bother me as much as how we dropped out—it would be nice to have a run, though. The issue is the performance and the nature of dropping out. Should've taken a 1-0 lead into halftime, at the minimum, but the downward trend continues.

When Arsenal did everything right except score in the first half, you knew what was gonna happen. The 2nd half was an actual match and Liverpool got the bounce. Liked that there were some intense minutes for a couple kids too.

Felt like you could have played another few hours and Arsenal still wouldn’t score.

Also didn’t impact the game as much but ref consistency lol.

Some Liverpool player instantly gets a card for dissent (deserved), and Odegard spends the entire game doing his best Bruno Fernandes impression and doesn’t even get talked to.

I was excited when they announced they’d be harder on players when it comes to dissent, but in practice I’ve been very disappointed.

Jorginho directly screamed “**** off” to the ref and didn’t get booked. Elliott was booked for exactly the same thing later. White not getting booked when Jones beat him was also funny.

Ref was all over the place honestly. Letting so much stuff go and calling random fouls.

                              Ehhh

I didn’t look at any part of that game and think that the ref impacted it in a negative way.

It was pretty simple, Arsenal didn’t take their chances and when you play a good team that always comes back to bite you.

Oh I agree it didn’t really impact the game, I’m just more annoyed that the standard of refereeing has been so poor that I notice these things so much now.
