It’s only 3 games so the jury’s still out but I’ll stand with the “if you were looking at Chelsea for a high energy 8 that makes late runs into the box and can play well in multiple positions” the answer was never Mount or Kai but Gallagher instead.

For his technical limitations he would have been a much better Xhaka replacement than Kai and someone way more durable snd positionally sound than Mount.


Kai & Mount are going to cause havoc on your fan bases all year.

Sloppy from VVD—that's a clear red due to taking down a player through on goal. However, I'd still love to see what would be a very large overhaul of the rules. Give him a yellow and sin bin instead. Reds should be reserved for dangerous play, obvious denial of goal scoring opportunities, obvious hand balls (to stop a goal), etc.

Sloppy and mistimed challenge in an actual attempt to win the ball? You're still punished, but it's not nearly as large as a alteration to the game.

Maybe it'll happen in 2040 or so.

Even though the 1st yellow on Trent was harsh he should have been sent off for that foul on Gordon.

Boy Newcastle is gonna get humbled once they start European play.
