After the season he had last year I would say its high.

If Kaka can stay healthy, then yes he is worth that much more than Ade. Considering the marketing aspects and jersey sales that Kaka brings along with him.

Adebayor to City looks to be a done deal.

He is scheduled for a workers permit hearing in Manchester tomorrow.

        Peace, Ade. You lollygagging ****.

Plays his *** off for a year and scores 30+, demands higher wages and then he prances around the pitch like a loser. I'd much rather have Van Persie, Bendtner, Eduardo, Vela, and Walcott up front.

His workrate was definitely utter garbage last season. Seems like Wenger is keen on bringing in Chamkah from Bordeaux to replace him. Which I really don't understand as he really doesn't seem like he is better than anyone we currently have at the position.

Aerial ability is his strength. But that strength isn't going to be very effective at Arsenal. As Clichy and Sagna couldn't put a quality cross in to save their lives.

Chakmah can't finish worth ****. If we're going to buy a forward, it needs to be a quality one like Villa. Otherwise, it's just a worthless purchase. We have great depth up front..look at how well Bendtner developed at the end of last season with his playing time. Do that with him and Vela, and it's better in the long run than buying a **** finisher like Chakmah.

I heard we're getting Matuidi from St. Etienne for our defensive mid spot, I like that even though I'd prefer Cana because of his aggression and determination.

              Re: The Transfer Thread

We've been quite active this off-season:

              In:
              LB Andre Blackman (Portsmouth; free)
ST David Clarkson (Motherwell; undisclosed [reportedly £600,000])
              GK Dean Gerken (Colchester; undisclosed)
              CM Paul Hartley (Celtic; free)
              ST/RW Danny Haynes (Ipswich; undisclosed)
              CB/LB Lewin Nyatanga (Derby; undisclosed)

              Out:
              ST Peter Štyvar (Xanthi; loan)
              ST Dele Adebola (Nottingham; free)
ST/LW Jennison Myrie-Williams (Dundee United; free)
              GK Chris Weale (Leicester; free)

Love the signings so far. Definitely gunning for promotion this season. It's looking like we are going to be moving away from a 4-4-2 into a 4-3-3, which I like. We've got lots of young players, so as long as we can keep them and let them improve, we should be good for a while.

We also have Finnish AM Alexei Eremenko and Greek CB Grigoris Papazaharias in on trial. Eremenko is getting a seriously look, while I don't think Papazaharias will stick around. Our manager is also looking to possibly sign one more striker, and he's looking for a big target man to be that striker.

RSC, Tevez, and Adebayor with Robinho...can't wait to see the formation they come up with to get all of them on the field at the same time.

                  1-1-8.

Micah at the back, Gareth in the middle, and a cluster**** up front.

Too bad Gareth Barry is about as easy to get around as a mountain of garbage.

And Ched Evans, Caicedo, Bellamy, Benjani, Bojinov, and Elano

They should of focused on the back 4 instead.

Probably when he realized Spurs were a second-rate club.

Too bad he chose the wrong team in Manchester.

In all seriousness though, City would be scary if they get the right manager and fix their defense.

I don't really care Chakmah either but if they get him and a holding midfielder I won't care about they signing of Chakmah. But I can say Lorik Cana does seem like an good choice, I like his playing style from the matches i have seen him during Champion League games and league games. He is the type of player that Arsenal could use in regards of his die hard attitude and aggressive tackles, he could also play back in defence (which could benefit Arsenal too). But overall i don't see them pulling away Cana so easily from Marsielle. Inler could still be a choice.

Check out this video of Lorik Cana by the way guys.

Anyone else have the suspicion that Wenger might try Vermaelen as a holding mid? I don't think it's the ultimate solution, but considering the number of CBs currently on the squad, it wouldn't surprise me...
