Calling Milner hot garbage is a little rough, especially since he was great in the EPL last year.

That being said, he's not as good as he appears and is certainly worth a lot less than what Citeh is offering. If they could also get Ireland, it would be a steal and a half.

We might see Milner back on the wing because I see it as Yaya and Barry both superior to Milner in the middle.

You saying put Ireland in that same central 'playmaker' role that Milner was in last year?

I'm not sure where they would put Ireland. He would not be the defensive midfielder because of Petrov, nor would he be a winger because of Young and Downing.

Really, there is only two options left. Top Reserve or Attacking playmaker. Unless they think Petrov's time is done, which is premature, IMO.

think if he did come to Villa he would slot in where Milner plays. Alongside Petrov in CM.

So happy to see Marquez, and hopefully more big names head over to the MLS. That league is slowly starting to develop nicely.

LB Carlos Salcido is being linked with a move away from PSV, with PL clubs Wigan or Liverpool his likely destination.

Fantastic signing for us, someone told me a few days ago that James was going to sign but I laughed it off. He was offered the chance to go to Celtic or Sunderland and was linked to Fulham and West Ham but the fact he has just got married and lives not to far from Bristol was the key factor.

He thinks he can go on until he is 45, we will see.
