Wouldn't call it on par, but still good if it comes true.

I'm only on board with this move if RVP is acquired for 20m or less. More than that would be stupid considering his health record and age.

SAF has come out and confirmed that Man U did, in fact make a bid. Then he blamed Arsenal for leaking it - vintage Fergie.

Yup, super quality guys that are willing to make less money than they would get at any other big club. I guess the pickings would be kinda slim in that case, SMH.

Yeah, we're after super-quality players, so we sign Park.

As for Carzola, I would love that signing. If the rumors about Malaga's poor financials are true and they need to sell their top players, I would hope Arsenal get moving quickly before other clubs swoop in so we're not facing a repeat of the Mata situation from last summer.

The latest of the RVP saga is that Wenger said we'll fight to keep him, essentially saying we want him to play his last year.

This means he'll be sold about a week into the season.

No chance they get £20m for a 29 year old, injury prone striker. And from the looks of it(if reports are to be believe, which you probably can't), City and Juve dont want to even get to 12M.

We definitely should not, but I still have a feeling in this day and age that someone will inevitably throw way too much at us as they won't recall his lack of playing before last season.
