Re: The Transfer Thread
Looks like United finally permanently got rid of Sanchez on a free transfer. It’s a total failure and embarrassment to not even get anything but not paying his 400k points per week anymore is a huge savings. Sancho seems like he’s coming on an installment payment of around 80m this year, 20m or so next summer, etc so looks for that dal to get done sooner now that Sanchez is gone. Thank god if this happens.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
man I really thought the Sanchez/Mkhitaryan swap was gonna work out for both teams pretty well, and it was... well... a massive failure, unless Mkhi helped Arsenal sign PEA, then Arsenal wonSupport Local Sports

Re: The Transfer Thread
Just the wages alone I’d say United lost out on that swap. Plus the ridiculous adverts of him coming in playing the piano like some football virtuoso lolYankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Sounds like United outsourced the deal to a brokerage firm and it wasn't Woodward involved. Explains why it happened so fast.Current careers:

Re: The Transfer Thread
Man City have a 15% sell on clause for Sancho. Looks like they will get 15+ million pounds out of the deal.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Now I feel less crazy, because there was no way in hell they were getting it done this window, or that quickly if the same structure as before handled it.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Sounds like the Sancho deal is hitting a snag with Man U co,big out and saying they are being basically extorted by Borussia. You know, they are right. However who’s fault is that with United making such piss poor decisions previously for millions of euros? But Borussia does this all the time. I guess U tied were hoping for a covid discount.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
How is BVB extorting them? They've held all the cards from the beginning, and are under no obligation or hurry to sell. Sancho himself isn't even pushing to leave, he's just willing to.
Dortmund set a price, and they aren't willing to lower it, that's completely fair. United are just being cranky because they thought they could get a discount for zero reason and it didn't work out.
Also just fyi, there is more than one team with Borussia in their name.Comment
