Re: The Transfer Thread
oh we DEFINITELY need 2. but the thing thats good about the kolo signing is no transfer fee. but i don't really think i've seen him play almost all season lol so i have no idea how he'll do. just good to get some cover in there. we did just agree a fee for some spainsh forward i've seen play a couple times against barca and madrid but thats it.They laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at them because they're all the same.

Re: The Transfer Thread
ok so there seems to be A LOT of LFC supporters around here which is awesome. i'm curious to know people's opinions on suarez. i personally think hes too much of a liability and needs to be sold while the iron is hot. hes definitely a world class player but hes not all universe like a messi or ronaldo otherwise he would be worth the trouble.no one player is bigger than any club. i'm not one of those people that like a player just because he plays for a club i root for. i've never liked him. especially after that whole race thing that was the end for me.
ANYWAYS... head like 10 million different reports on him today. but heres a direct quote from the chomper himself. "it is not true i have an agreement with real madrid. i am thinking about my future but i haven't decided anything yet." but then its being reported by marca that madrid just triggered his $40 mil release clause and is close to coming to signing with them. so looks like hes good as gone at this point. and cesc apparently is going no where this summer. which kinda sucks i would of liked to see him back in the bpl but oh well sorry moyes.Last edited by BIGE888; 05-30-2013, 09:37 PM.They laugh at me because I'm different. Re: The Transfer Thread
I am on the fence when it comes to Suarez.
On one hand I am sick to death of his constant diving, waving his arms in disgust at the linesman on every challenge. Every tackle is not a foul Luis! Not to mention the biting, racism, abuse to officials, you name it. The bottom line is, he misses too many games through suspension. He's already going to miss the first 6 games of next season if he's still here.
On the other hand, where are we going to get another 30+ goal scorer from? The aren't falling from the trees. I expect us to get around 30-40 million for him but how many replacement players in that price bracket would want to come to Anfield? There is no enticement of Champion's league football. Heck, we can't even give them Europa league.
I'm swaying towards selling him. If we can't attract a world class goal scorer who can give us 30+ goals, I will settle for buying 2 or 3 (Aspas being one) solid players to help Sturridge with the goal load. I'm not convinced of Borini, he is not EPL standard in my books. It's getting to the point where Suarez is more of a liability than an asset. No one is bigger then the club. Let's sell and move on.Comment

I love the guy, that's obvious. He is a fellow Uruguayan so I root for him on the club and international level. I don't appreciate his antics but I hope that level of production would stay with the club. He is one of those guys who would leave a hole on this team that is irreplaceable. He is no Ronaldo or Messi, but he is certainly directly in the tier under them and in my opinion one of the 5 best players in the BPL.YNWAComment

If he goes, he might be the first player to ever leave two clubs while suspended for biting an opponentComment
