Have Bill Wirtz own the hockey team in the area you grow up, you'll find that your passion means nothing unless it converts to $$$. I have favorite teams, and I sure do get emotional, I mostly just don't hate any teams outside of Spurs, Sunderland and Detroit.

Re: The Transfer Thread
I’m interested to see what Dortmund does with him the rest of the season.
No reason to run him out consistently when they have Other elite young talent that needs experience.
I wonder if there’s anything in the in the deal that requires them to play him a certain amount.
I would buy a Liverpool kit had he gone there. But I’m not buying a blue one.

He’ll still get a decent amount of minutes considering Reus and Goetze are walking injuries plus they’re still in all 3 comps.
I actually think he’s a lot better than Larsen but Favre has them rolling.
We could really use him now though considering all but 2 of our attackers are hurt.

I disagree, I think they're about par in terms of talent, I'd rather have Pulisic's runs, but I'd rather have Bruun-Larsen's touch, pass, and shot.Support Local Sports

Re: The Transfer Thread
Idk, Chelsea fans are killing the move because of his output but it’s actually better than Larsen’s. Pulisic is also a much better dribbler.
Larsen is a good player and top talent but Pulisic fits our RWF mold pretty well. Hopefully it works out, the pressure is going to be tremendous.

Re: The Transfer Thread
And just like that Naldo is heading to AS Monaco.
The guy who was the best central-defender in the Bundesliga last year and saved our arse at both derbies against Dortmund just gets flogged to the second-to-last place team in France.
I know that he is 36 years old. I know that he didn't get much playing time this season. I know that he cost a lost of wages. But come on! He was such an important piece for the team and know look at us. 14th in the league and most definitely battling relegation than anything else. We need him more than ever.
I am so close to not giving a flying **** about what will happen with Schalke this season. It's just.. whatever. Get relegated. I don't give a ****.
And a personal message to our sports director:
Dear Christian Heidel, would you be so kind and **** off? Thanks.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Wait I’m confused...
You have a 36yr old central defender who isn’t getting many minutes now, contract is expiring in 6 months, AND is in high wages and you don’t want to sell him?
What if they use his wages to bring in some better CBs on loan?

Re: The Transfer Thread
Naldo was superb last year, but the poor guy got driven into the ground. As a 36 year old, dude played 34 games and averaged 90 minutes per game. Since Schalke isn't going anywhere (neither relegation nor Europe); you should be happy to clear his money off the books.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
1. Pulisic came with a “American marketing machine” tax, even though he was entering the final year of his contract.
2. Werner is also entering the final year of his contract and Leipzig already said getting nothing for him is not an option. So, not surprising they’d take less than value to avoid getting nothing.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Werner could also just resign in Leipzig.
It would suck to lose him but Leipzig will be fine. They brought Matheus Cunha over in the offseason and Amadou Haidara was brought in recently to hopefully fill the Keita role. I just need to keep perspective; going from no team to Dortmund-lite in ~10 years is pretty remarkable.Comment

Fekir left out of Lyon's lineup against something called Bourges Foot in the French Cup and LFC twitter has lost its mind. LOL, never change.Comment
