I want a gaming console. Unfortunately, the Xbox One seems to be more concerned with non-gaming features than the games themselves.

While I have my 360 hooked up to the silver Xbox Live account, anyways, I still don't like this news. It wouldn't really affect me, but to have to have my Xbox One (if I got one) hooked up to the internet would kind of suck. I had to live in a camping trailer without internet for a few months in 2007 while I was in the process of moving in 2007 (the house sold before school was out). I guess I would have been SOL if I had an Xbox One then.

With that being said, I'm not looking to jump to "next-gen" consoles anytime soon, anyways. This news makes it more so.

I've never bought a Playstation console before, but if/when I make the jump to next-gen, I may be leaning that direction.

Aside from sports games, I don't play much console gaming anymore, anyways. PC gaming FTW.

Microsoft is trying too do to much trying to compete with sony, i don't want to watch the NFL on my xbox i want to play games, for years ive bin both a xbox and playstation guy.....but i think this year i may go playstation exclusive

What about if you're having a bad month monetarily wise and your internet bill comes up short on the budget. So you just can't even play your Xbox because you can't connect to the internet? Wow I was a die hard Xbox guy until this. It seems kinda arrogant of them if you ask me. And how can they just assume that everyone even plays online. Looks like I'll be switching over to be a Sony PS4 guy now.

I think it's pretty stupid to have to always be connected. People may go out of town and not have internet where they are, storms could knock out internet service, you could move houses and may not get internet for a few days, so on and so forth. I just feel it's dumb to always have to be connected.
