This patch seemed to address the MyCareer lag. I played a round at TPC River Highlands and had just two minor instances of lag.

However, on Hole 17, I did get a disconnect.

Downloaded the patch and played a round on my career. The hitch on the backswing is still there. Sometimes the club won’t even move ( like it Galway’s did ) this patch did nothing to address this. I’m on ps5.
Pusses me off that this wasn’t fixed. Can’t golf if you can’t swing the damn club. Then when I do swing ( after 5 hitches) I’m all messed up tempo wise.

Downloaded the patch and played a round on my career. The hitch on the backswing is still there. Sometimes the club won’t even move ( like it Galway’s did ) this patch did nothing to address this. I’m on ps5.
Pusses me off that this wasn’t fixed. Can’t golf if you can’t swing the damn club. Then when I do swing ( after 5 hitches) I’m all messed up tempo wise.

Just checked… need to reset your career to include the Farmers Open on the Torrey Pines course.

I think it would show up in the next season you play, too. So you don't have to fully restart if you don't want to - just skip events and move ahead to the next year. That's how it was in 2K21 when they added Detroit Golf Club and Bay Hill, anyway.

I think it would show up in the next season you play, too. So you don't have to fully restart if you don't want to - just skip events and move ahead to the next year. That's how it was in 2K21 when they added Detroit Golf Club and Bay Hill, anyway.

Are you using the stick to swing? I had this issue in PGA 2k21 and found it to actually be a bad controller. I bought a new controller and only use it for golf and haven’t had a problem since. Just a suggestion from my experience with what you are describing.

Looks like they nerfed the splash shots a bit. They also changed the search for Highest Rated Courses. Now the official courses occupy the first few pages unlike before.

I only play Match Play against ghosts and after the patch was installed, if I choose match or any other format it only lets me play Stroke Play. And I don't get to see the ghost swinging in turn, just the ball flying in the air. Hoping a reboot or something fixes this.

Looks like they nerfed the splash shots a bit. They also changed the search for Highest Rated Courses. Now the official courses occupy the first few pages unlike before.

That’s unfortunate. After promoting the course designer hide your best ones.

As of this morning is is back to the way it was pre patch.

Now you can putt off the fringes and fairways without fear of leaving it woefully short or banging it 100 feet off the green.

Reading on discord that there are several issues post patch:

- In the designer, they changed the bunker math so that brush bunkers now auto-sink about twice as much as they used to. Makes them a lot more awkward to sculpt.

- New fittings values that are earned are significantly worse then previous ones...seems they either are glitched, or they are trying to nerf fittings.

A NextMaker responded, "They're talking about a possible bug in the NextMakers Discord. There is likely a problem."

Then I am glad I have gotten pretty much all my fittings taken care of just fiddling around with the gap and sand wedges now everything else is good. I have neglected to do anything with putter fittings. Does anyone really think it helps at all? I like to think 99% of it is my input. Not like I'm gonna blast a putt and still have it finish around the hole. Or am I wrong?

I had the hitch problem until the first patch, and since, it's been perfectly smooth. I don't know your problem.
