With the sweep, the Tiger's lead in the Central swells to 23 games over the Twins. The Blue Jays lead the East by 11 games over the Yankees. The Astros lead the West by 4.5 over the Rangers. The Twins, Yankees, and Rangers are currently in Wild Card position, with the Angels just a half game back, and the Rays only a game out.
In the National League, the Braves lead the East by 11 games over the Mets. The Brewers lead the Central by 4 games over the Cardinals. The Dodgers lead the West by 7.5 games over the Padres. The Mets and Cardinals hold the top 2 Wild Card spots, while the Pirates and Padres are tied for the final Wild Card spot.
