    My Madden 12 sliders that prove the game is solid

    Updated 8/31/2011


    This is a slider set that produces great physics and weight to the players. The players will act intelligent and it will definitely give you a Madden experience like nothing else.


    The slider set is as follows:

    If you play on the PRO level use
    Human= 65. CPU= 100.
    Very slow speed. 100 threshold speed

    If you play on ALL PRO level use
    Human= 55. CPU=100
    Slow speed. 100 threshold speed

    If you play on ALL MADDEN level use
    Human= 50 CPU= 100
    Normal speed. 100 threshold speed

    (If your beast at madden lower your pass blocking to 45
    )

    * personally, I like the pro level

    Auto strafe and auto sprint are "off" for the pro level only!

    I have all the penalties at 55 Except roughing the passer. I have that at 54.

    I have auto subs for LB's, DT, DE, RB at 80/85. Cb's , Wr and TE are at 70/75
    Use thes subs with a fatigue of 75 and injuries at 35.

    Just curious why you want to keep the separation of players minimal?

      If you adjust the human sliders in any way, you are playing on ROOKIE. It's a bug. However, you can adjust the CPU sliders and the demo won't revert the game to rookie.

        Here are some things I noticed on the default settings on all- pro.

        1. Qb's ran wild without any resistance up to 5 or 10 yards down field.
        2. Receivers ran out routes and would just stop and not make an intelligent move when the the ball was in the air. ( this also happened on screen plays as well.)
        3. Run blocking had guys going up field and not make an intelligent block on the closest guy.
        4. Pass blocking had guys just plain out whiffing on their assignment. Also, backs would ignore free linebackers on pass plays and not even attempt to come back and cut block them.
        5. D-line getting pancaked on one on one blocking.
        6. Cb's getting burned on long balls because their movements were herky-jerky at the point of impact.
        7.kick and punt return blocking was not intelligent.

        With sliders at 100 for the CPU and 65 for the user, these issues have been resolved.

          Good question. I like it because if Cutler scrambles, he gets around the corner on linebackers way to easy. Also, I believe players have enough separation by their attributes alone. Because I have the sliders so high for the user, I feel that my players would get open too easy and this keeps the separation to a minimal but noticeable

            Yeah, I was aware of that , but it has no bearing on the difficulty of the game. For example, if you set all your human sliders to 0, that would be on a level even harder than All- Madden , but the setting would still say " rookie".

            The bug is that it says " rookie " not " custom"

            You can always tell the difficulty by how fast the kick meter moves. On Rookie it is very slow. On All Madden it is very fast. When the sliders are changed to all 0's the setting will say rookie, but the kick meter dictates All Madden.

              I disagree. This has already been discussed. Game speed doesnt effect the difficulty. But if you move any slider by even just one increment, on all pro for instance, the game will get considerably easier. Try it. I don't think rookie is custom.

                  I did. I put pass rush for the human at 0 and the d- line played like it did on all madden. Guys just fell to the ground.

                  The speed of the kicking meter is directly related to the difficulty. Watch how fast it moves on all madden as compared to rookie.

                  Also put qb accuracy at 0 for human and CPU and see how influential the sliders are. They do work and it evident in certain aspects of the game.

                  Sliders for CPU at 100 and user at 65 play day and night from rookie, pro, all pro , and all madden.

                  Try it out.......you'll see

                    I'm trying to find a happy medium between pro(75) and all pro (50) and putting the CPU at it's hardest level.

                    That's why for now , I'm at 100 for the CPU and 65 for the human

                        Out of curiosity.....with the cpu @100,are you seeing any errant throws or drops by the cpu??
                        Also...what about pass defense? wouldn't this have a major effect on the db's heavily mirroring routes?

                          Try my sliders if you really want to do what the topic says. Have "Sliders that prove the game is solid". Cause with the OP's sliders your gonna get a lot of cheating A.I. and warping .
