Yeah, I mean these sliders are not for everyone. They are really for the pro - allpro guys. If your a guys who can hang on all madden then these might not give you that challenge. But!!!!! I still think that the difficulty can be achieved through the speed of the game. Maybe put it on normal or fast speed to make your reactions faster.

As far as the sliders go. I think that the slider is a percentage thing. I think at 50 your asking a player to perform at his attributes 50% of the time. Tom Brady has attributes at 99 . If we look at the op's theory , Tom Brady would perform at a rating of 149. That would be too high. But if we say I would like Tom Brady to perform at a slider of 62 or 62% of his ratings then we are asking him to be an efficient player. On the flip side if we put the CPU at 100 ,were asking the CPU to react as intelligent as it can be. Since it lacks the human element, it needs to be as smart as it can be without cheating, warping suction or super lb's.

Why is the kick meter so slow with these sliders?

PS I'm testing these on retail but can't report back any results.

The kicking meter goes slow on All-Pro-All-Pro sliders or lower sliders. It only goes fast on All-Madden or All-Madden sliders..

I thought adjusting the sliders just changed the difficulty to Rookie aka Custom. Does the base Skill Level still have any bearing?

Naw its just a glitch that changes the defualt to rookie. The gameplay is still at all-madden if you keep each of the USER categories at 75 or lower. If you take any of the USER sliders above that the gameplay drops to an all-pro gameplay and the kicking meter starts to go slower..

Jarrod what sliders would u recommend for someone who plays more around he allmadden level. These work great but are a little easy for me

I tried these they was better than i thought. Made the game play better. But only problem i had is i could not pull off a play action. Soon as i fake it to the rb i was sacked

Gave these a try today and played 6 games, pretty impressed with the results. Only thing I did different so far is mess with the speed threshold.

First tried it at the OP's suggested 100. While it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be I like to have more separation (just my personal preference) than this provided.

Also played with it at default 50 and 35, which seems to be suggested in many slider sets.
Thought it played well with both of these and will stay with 35 when I get the retail version until sample size becomes large enough to see if it needs to be changed.

The set does play a good game of football IMHO. Happy with both running and passing games of both cpu and human player. Will be able to tell much more when I get retail version and can try playing with other teams. A very good set to use as a base and who knows depending on what tweaks have been made between the demo and retail maybe these will be good enough without having to make many changes at all.

thanks guys. i appreciate all of your feedback. because of your positive feedback i decided to get Season Ticket and get the game on the 26th. i will play the game and implement my theory on sliders to the game and hopefully have a solid set by the 30th when the game is released.
