I thought we could have a little fun with this, at least until the official info is released. We can make this a project for people to kind of put their own spin on what they think this new mode called Diamond Dynasty actually is. Whether you're right, wrong, or just making your own little wish about what it is, it would be interesting to see what people envision in their heads when they hear this mode. I don't know if the CD guys are even in the know about this project, so if they're not, it would be valuable to hear your guesses as well.
Once the info is released, of course, then we get to compare or see if somebody picked out the right lotto numbers for the actual mode details.

As for my guess, as Russell said it's something unlike anyone has ever seen before, my thoughts on an expansion mode kind of go out the window. We have seen All Star Baseball use that with generic created stadiums, and MVP Baseball has already done a create-a-stadium for that matter. Even if it was used to pick your own team like that, too many sports games have already done that. Somebody suggested some sort of card-playing game, which would also be sort of interesting. We've seen the use of playing cards in games, but only as collectibles really, not as an actual game mode.
It's the word "dynasty" that sticks out the most to me, and the notion that it's also an online-capable. I'm thinking that it has something to do with building up some sort of team in a franchise-like atmosphere of years built upon one another, so I don't think it's either a single game kind of environment, nor do I think it's an RttS kind of development. The only way I can see it being similar to Road to the Show is if you create 25 different characters, but that would certainly be a lot of work.
