Any chance of making a MOM sub thread for those of us that really enjoy it?
You guys have done a GREAT job with the CPU v CPU this year right out of the box. LOTS of fun! Thanks!

Not according to Russell_SCEA check his post history, it's back there a ways , but IIRC, he actually said 20 to 30, so I already juiced the number

I am a MoM player, love the mode, just kind of waiting a little bit to start a chise up, but the flow of the game is so much better this year so that is huge for me, kind of can't wait to get started.

I 'll start what team are you planning on managing and why?

Myself its the Tigers, longtime fan, for myself, I am hoping to take them all the way. Also it will be fun tweaking the roster here and there, first thing I plan on doing is find me a leadoff guy who can set the table for the big guys. Jackson is to strikeout prone for my liking, and will move him down the order probably to 8 or 9th.

Definitely.
Love how the game moves along this year.
I almost don't mind the 6 second countdown!
But I still want them to ditch it and just let us hit whatever button we want to step in.

Honestly.....there isn't much that needs to be done.
I noticed CUSTOM CAMs are an option this year. Did anyone try it out yet?
I'm going to dive into a game now to get a feel.
I'm starting with everything default...but I usually go with Ninjoid/nomo's CPU vs. CPU sliders....they are accurate as could be IMO.

Not sure about the Mod Ryan's attitude towards a legit mode in their game. Who picks these Mod's anyways? It was a serious request..at least I'm not asking for the 10000th time how to import custom music. Geez

Ryan is just saying it's tough to justify an entire sub-forum for such a small group of users.
Perhaps if we can keep this in the top 50 pages for a while...maybe they will give us the MLB Front Office Manager forum!

Has Nomo posted his sliders in the vault yet? Default seems to play pretty good this year in my opinion. Like Knight said it would be nice to keep this thread going for a while, then maybe they will take us seriously.

Rwings have you had much success pitching so far in Mom this year?Ive struggled a lot.If so I'd be interested in some of your pitch strategies

Hey Miami, as far as pitching goes, I usually let my catcher call the game pretty much. Every once in a while I will step in and for instance if its 0-2, or 1-2, I will call a pitch high and in, or high and away just to see if I can ge the guy to chase. A lot of it depends on who the player is too. I know I was playing the Angels, and had Albert to bat with nobody on, and i just chose to pitch around him to see if he would get himself out, but he drew the walk though.
