Re: Analog or Buttons
Analog all the way, both hitting and pitching.
Real men use their sticks. You know what I mean.
It depends... I started out using the button (well in MLB 10 there were no analog options), and I think the simplicity did help me get up to the "speed" of the game, especially hitting. If you start out with analog hitting, you might not understand what you are doing wrong, when all you produce are weak hits, since there are a couple more things that could go wrong. -
Re: Analog or Buttons
I use analog hitting but button pitching. I hit pretty well with analog hitting plus guess pitch. Pitching on the other hand I stay away from analog after last year. Fielding I also use the buttons. Reason is it's just too "touchy" for me and I can't pitch for strikes or make throws using analog.Comment

timing hitting, meter pitching, button throwing.... i don't care for analog at all. i'm old school ....... it's not a "real" video game without buttons!!! lolComment

Re: Analog or Buttons
Classic Pitching, Timing Only Hitting, Auto Fielding, and Auto Throwing.
I try to remove myself from the equation as much as humanly possible while still actually playing the game.Comment
