Late September and my Nats are battling. About a week and a half left in the season and we're now tied for first with Miami after taking the first two games of a four game set. Game one ends on a walk-off home run by Eric Chavez in extras, game two ends with Bautista coming off the bench, two out bottom of the 9th HR. Two sick games.

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

Started a Marlins franchise and am in Year 4 right now. Currently up 3-1 in the NLCS against the Nationals after winning one of the best games I've ever played. We were down 5-0 after the 2nd. Tied it at 6 in the 8th and then it a walk-off HR in the bottom of the 9th. Took some time to develop prospects, but the Marlins already had some solid players within their organization (my two best players are Jacob Turner and Jose Fernandez). Turner won the 2016 NL Cy Young. We're not the most talented team as I don't have any 90 OVR+ batters, but the team plays some awesome small ball.
Edit: Advanced to World Series after beating Nationals in 6 games.

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

Has anyone noticed that when in the first game of your franhise if someone strikes out in their first at bat for your team they go into a huge slump and can't hit the broadside of a barn. It never fails. Everytime one of my guys strikes out in their first at bat it takes them forever to get it going. I hope I'm not the only one that notices this.

Traded him in the 2nd year because he wanted 9 mil+ per year and we didn't have the budget to do that.
