    Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread

5-7 with the Tribe. My rotation absolutely blows. I didnt wanna do it but i signed Lohse, and I'm thinkin about trading Acab and/or Brantley for an ace. I dont know if its just me, but i can't seem to get a starter past the 7th (pitching on verteran).

Is anyone else using the tribe? If so how's your rotation doing?

Played my first game against the Astros today, Jose Altuve batting 3rd. He's one of my favorite players but def no #3 hitter, come on...

Nah, #2 tops. When I played against the Rangers all three games Kinsler was batting 9th. Not sure what the deal with that was...

I'll probably be finished with the game by winter and be ready for mlb 14.

You might of just convinced me too keep on going with my franchise bud! Thanks haha (1-2) with the Astros...quit my 3rd game because I was debating if I should just wait and auto save was on
3 people playing and we don't skip eachother. So 1 game of 2 series maybe simmed. So 9 games in 2 of mine have been simmed +\- 1 for the other guys I'll have all rosters in after my game I'm ab to start. Game 2 vs brewers 3 game series. David Price 3 rd start of year We chugging along. I wanna keep going with this roster set because of certain events that have happened I won't forget and I want that to be a part of my franchise. Not o that was my 3rd team I tried.

Started a franchise with the Marlins, plan to build them up around Stanton (will probably restart w/ OSFM) but I got tired of waiting. I did jumble the rotation as well as signing Ramon Ramirez for Bullpen depth. Jumped into the first game, and pitched a gem w/ Nate Evoldi. Scraped across 2 runs being patient and playing small ball pairing that with Strasburg out after 7 got me a 2-0 win on Opening Day.

I am halfway through May with the Redsox. I am 24-23 and third in the AL East 2.5 games behind the Yankees, trades have been lack luster so far was able to obtain Halladay and a couple prospects for Jarod Saltlamacchia and Franklin Morales. Jon Lester is having a great season at 5-1 with a sub 2 ERA and is second in the league with wins, think I will keep this roster till the all star break and see what happens

The 3 user fantasy draft franchise. Cardinals , redsox , tigers continued..
Been playing alot of games. And watching the others so I'll update the redsox side so far. They are really settling in now. 2-3 trades completed. They refuse to lose. 1st in hitting and 1 st in steals. Juan Pierre fans this is your team. He fills in at DH and hits 9. I believe he's got 10 with Pierre already.

                    Mariners.
In a stunning move, before the bats even hit the balls, the Mariners traded King Felix to the Cardinals for Oscar Tavares, Shelby Miller, and Carlos Martinez. It was a rough first year for the M's, going 60-102, but a few bright spots in mike morse hitting 305/35/87 and both Mike Zunnio and Jesus Montero progressing well, hitting 17, and 22 homers respectively. Oscar Tavares was the star of triple A progressing to a 92 overall and hitting .320/37/104 with a call up to the majors, and some solid drafting left the Mariners looking lean, mean, young, and ready to roll.
                    2014
an opening day lineup of (ovr)
                    1. Dustin Ackley (89)
                    2. Mike Zunnio (94)
                    3. Oscar Taveres (98)
                    4. Jesus Montero (99)
                    5. Mike Morse (86)
                    6. Kendrys Morales (85)
                    7. Kyle Seager (83)
                    8. Casper Wells (80)
                    9. Steve Castro (77)

                    and a rotation of
                    Taijuan Walker (93)
                    Carlos Martinez (93)
                    Shelby Miller (89)
                    Hisashi Iwakuma (86)
                    Danny Hultzen (81)

After 53 games the M's are 23-30 in 4th place and 11.5 games back for the AL West crown.

Playing my brew crew fantasy draft 'chise and just had a really intense game in San Francisco.

Couldn't do much against Fister, only scoring 2 over 7 innings against him while giving up 4 runs in that time. Then in the 9th inning after two quick outs, Markakis gets a triple. Prince Fielder comes up and a homerun will tie the game. Second pitch was a really wild pitch allowing Markakis to score, it's now 3-4. Then, it's a 2-2 count and Street throws a sinker, letter high, center of the plate to Prince. I missed....

I was so upset, seeing that pitch coming I knew I had the game tying homerun and couldn't believe it when it hit the glove.

im currently 4-0 in my redsox franchise. we swept the yankees but i lost jonny gomes for 2 months with an injury. i brought up jackie bradley jr to replace him and he had a solid first game against the jays with a hr in his first ab and a single in his second.

I may start a chise tonight. I may not make an Astros one because I am going to make one with them when the osfm roster comes out. I may use a different team. Still debating. What's a good team to use?

I'm still searching for the team I want to use when the rosters drop. I want to play with a team that was not good last year, but has several prospects/ young players I can build around through the draft. I plan to sim 3 years so that I can get my Year 1 and possibly Year 2 draft prospects into the majors and then play Year 4. Any suggestions for teams to start with? Thanks for the help!

Just pitched a gem with Joe Saunders versus Detroit. Was playing on Legend with Pure Analog; also had User Pitch Control / Consistency Sliders both on 0 and CPU hitting sliders at default, can't say for sure but pitching seems to be easier in '13 than it was in '12.
