Armor and Sword,

Do you gents compare stats in order to come up with your sliders set?

Agree with everyone above - one game in and already feels like the best out of the box experience. Once the ball is in play, things feel a little fast. Wonder if both fielder speed /throw power AND base runner speed could do with a look, but I just played a hof pitching and hitting game and it was great. Tense and fun win, loved it.

Look forward to seeing the little adjustments when they come, and would love a HoF hitting set this year!

You convinced me Armor, I bought in. Honestly I kind of needed to see some gameplay this year to convince me.

I'm not head over heals in love, but I'm certainly enjoying the on field improvements.

SO sorry everyone.....Twtich servers not liking me today.

Another adjustment I made is fastball/offspeed sliders are maxed out now.

Feels authentic on 18 this way. For my taste the ball was floating in at default and not enough velocity even at 7/7.....I will keep playing and settle on a speed....but remember this particular slider is personal and also a way to ramp up the hitting difficulty without touching anything else.

Played 2 games in my White Sox franchise. Won 8-4 on opening day and got shut out 3-0. Both games were polar opposites of each other and I loved every minute of it. One tweak I made was dropping the base runner speed to 4. I felt like base runners were way too fast at 5 and all infield hits weren't even close

I’m in as well. Thanks WW and Armor! My embargo lasted all of a day

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 18 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders

Update on pitch speed again.

Use what feels best for you.

I am really locked in with 7/7

Default was a little too easy for me and after a few games with 10 it lost that smooth bat off the ball feeling I had out of the box.

I am loving all the CPU pitching sliders at default thus far. The balance feels great. I am drawing walks and the CPU is not pounding the zone.

Love fielder speed and reaction at 4 and error sliders now are at 4 as well.

More to come next week!
