Too many strikeouts

I saw a thread about how the CPU is striking out a lot, is anyone themselves striking out a lot? I play on pure analog with the Phillies. Hall of Fame was too easy so I bumped to legend. I like the difficulty level, as I feel like I’m scoring an acceptable amount of runs. However I strikeout an insane amount (10-15x a game). Thing that frustrating is a lot of time I have good timing the PCI is just under or over the ball.

Just curious if anyone else experiences this or just me? Also curious of any slider suggestions to maybe allow me just to foul off a little bit more? I don’t want to up my average (8-10 hits a game), so I’m hesitate to touch the sliders, I just want to reduce the swings and misses.

I play on All-star pitching, using the Pitcher meter mechanism. I just finished a franchise game using Strider for the Braves vs. the Nats 5K's in 6IP. The CPU adjusted the 4SFB & 2SFB. I am using my sliders from the last 2 yrs.

Pitching does seem more challenging in this version of the Show.

I feel like I am striking the CPU out a lot using the Mets pitchers and I am playing on Legend. I really dont get it this year. I use to play on hall of fame and it was a challenge. Now I am dominating on Legend and I am concerned if the game has become too easy which makes me not enjoy it as much

Strikesout i am averaging about 12 per game and I am striking out 10 times per game

I use the Mets also and my pitching level is on Legend+ using Dynamic.

Way….way too many cpu strikeouts. Also way too many strikeouts looking for cpu. I hope they fix that because otherwise the game is awesome

I have struck out a lot of cpu hitters so far, even a low 80s or lower tier pitcher I can strike out quite a bit still. And it becomes more of an issue when good hitters are striking out a lot

On legend just raise cpu contact to 6. World of difference. Still get k's but you have to earn them, helps with their vision to so less k's looking.

Are you guys striking out while hitting also? That’s also been an issue for me. I average 8-10 hits a game but I’m striking out a ton.

I have played 5 games in my franchise. AS, default sliders, completely clean screen, no strike zone, no hot/cold zones, no pitch types displayed, no ball fade. Below are my Ks against the cpu in those games. No quick counts.

I also have the vibration on as I do waste pitches and try to pitch off the plate a tad when ahead in the count. CPU WILL chase balls out of the zone.

The pitching is wild this year. They're hard to control yet also seem overpowered for both CPUs and humans.


Seems like the online meta is slow off-speed pitches this year. Impossible to hit.

I’ve been using TNK sliders this year, have played about 7-8 exhibition games to see how they’re playing and have made a couple adjustments to the CPU hitting. I’ve put the CPU contact up 2, CPU foul frequency down 2, CPU power up 1, CPU timing down 1. I’m seeing a lot more balls in play and roughly about 8-10Ks per game which is much better than I was getting before, pumped about that!

I'm not striking out any more than any other years. But the amount of CPU strike outs are pretty ridiculous. I'm hoping they tone them down some in a patch. I'm getting 10-12 with my back of the rotation guys.

Pitching does seem easier this year. I always use Dynamic in Spring Training. Usually my level is between All Star and HOF with little spurts of Legend. This year I rose easily to Legend+.
