Unnecessary beards

I hate to complain about a great game... But man what're up with all of the beards? Chris Davis had a beard for a little while in the offseason, that is it. Not to mention Adam Jones' mess of a beard, Mark Trumbo... Victor Martinez has a goatee for crying out load, he has NEVER had facial hair.... I just don't get it.

And Chris Davis always seems to have a little stubble. Idk how he looks in game though.

I think they may have overdid the beards as well. It seems like any player who grew a beard for any length of time last season (like the playoff run) has that beard in game. I don't remember Adam jones ever having a beard like the one he has in MLB 14 and I believe Davis only had that beard for month or so. IMO, I think scea should only put beards on players who have that beard in their real life picture. So many of the Red Sox players would still have their beards, but players who stay clean shaven most of the year wouldn't

One of the design devs, Nick Livingston, in a stream the other day said that if someone had a beard, they just gave them one in the game. Nick, if you browse the forums, correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe we'll get a major upper lip update for Movember too?

I quite like the beards, but I too have noticed a few players on TV that are sporting clean chins unlike their virtual counterparts.

Mostly because that kid can't grow a beard...he is unshaven quite often, but I would not call it a beard. Need an option for the scraggly beard.

Last night when I was playing the thought crossed my mind about how every other player has a beard...even 5 years ago who would've thought the facial hair craze/fad would be a focal point for a baseball video game?
