I've been using instant trades this year. I've noticed with the waiting period the amount of trades is great,y reduced, I think it is a bug. With instant trade on you get a more realistic amount of trades.

With 30 team control if I see a trade I don't like I just trade the players back.

Re: 30-team control

so if I understand this correctly, I can go into pending transactions and decline trades for cpu teams? If so idk why I haven't been using 30 team control all along

We've all been wondering the same thing!

Yes...you can accept/decline or just let the CPU decide when viewing the transaction-trade screen.

Re: 30-team control

I experienced something very strange last night when I started my opening day game for my 30 team franchise. I was pitching against the Cubs and they swung at every single pitch. I thought maybe it was a coincidence in the first inning. After the first batter in the 2nd swung at the first pitch snd grounded out I threw a fastball as high and outside the zone as possible, and sure thing, swing and a miss. I said screw it and simulated the rest of the game. My pitchers after the game had a 98 percent strike rating...After returning to the main menu I went back in and changed all 30 teams profiles to the same "Experienced" profile I use for my primary team (STL) Went into game #2 and the problem was gone. Before I had them all on a seperate profile so that I didnt have to manage all the smaller responsibilities like minor league injuries, drafting, staff etc. I primarily just want to manage the other 29 MLB lineups, rotations, and call ups/send downs. Could this have been a problem with the file settings association? Has anyone else experienced this.
Using OSFM v.1 rosters/ Armor & Swords sliders (no quick counts)

Re: 30-team control

I'm curious what people consider a "bad trade"?

Re: 30-team control

Question:

Is there any reason MLB players injured in A who are also on the 40 man wouldn't get called up when they're healthy?

The game only promotes/demotes to majors based on injuries or recovering from injuries. It has never done transactions like this based on performance.

So why wouldn't injured players in A ball be called up when healthy and MLB caliber?
