I have a 51 game hitting streak in RTTS!! Just wondered how rare is this for the show. Anyone on here get 56 games or more? Last game I was 0 for 3, and got the game winner in the 9th!

i think ive gotten up to some where around 30 hit streak, but then i just get stupid sometimes and swing at everything and end up losing the streak.Toronto Blue Jays

I've always found hitting streaks fascinating.
Off topic, if you had a guy who had a 162 game streak,
but went 1 for 5 every game, would you keep him or look to upgrade?

Ugh. I hate when some wiseass has to come in and try to ruin a simple accomplishment.
Yes, hit streaks are fun. Would you be a very productive player if you went 1-5 with a single everyday? No. But nobody actually does that anyway, so it is irrelevant.Comment

In MLB 09 I had a Franchise going with the Yankees and had a 46 game hit streak going with Mark Teixeira. I just stopped playing the game one day, with the streak still intact. I don't know why I never played it out and it still eats at me.Comment

I know you're making a point in jest, but I don't think the answer is as obvious as you do..
I would absolutely keep that player and his .225 avg (It wouldn't be .200, no way he gets 5 ab's each game)
It means that even on the days you faced an ace and were shut down, he found a way to get on base, bad weather, shadows - he still got a hit.. If he can keep foucused like that and hit great pitching, he'll come around and start hitting bad pitching better.
Hitting streaks are about a lot more than batting averageComment

Congrats, what difficulty were you on?
I recently had a 15 game hit streak in AAA, pretty impressive
. I have my difficulty setting on Dynamic and through that streak I've improved to Veteran status. I suck at hitting

In my Astros 'chise I currently have a 26 game streak going with Jose Altuve. I hit a walkoff homer with him the last game I played, and he was 0-4 before that
