How do I get better at this game

I want to use zone hitting because I'm in control and it is what the good players to use, but I can't track pitches, I try to, but can't track exactly where it goes and if I'm do I'm either early or late with the swing. I try to leave it somewhere and that doesn't work. I,play online so if tips could pertain to online that'd be great

Batting practice and trying different camera angles until you get better reading pitches.

For online play, people tend to fall into patterns. Pick up on these patterns and sit on a spot that they've been using in a certain situation if you know what I mean...
