Rocco Bridges is still riding the struggle bus at the MLB level. If you look closely, there has been some growth when it comes to pitch recognition which has resulted in more consistent solid contact. HOWEVA, this has not resulted in a higher batting average to this point. I would expect this to pay off over time.

On the bright side, it's only Colby Rasmus in front of Rocco, so how hard could it be to be a starter, right? RIGHT? Plus double digit HR's so far in the 1st season in the majors:

Entering June Byron Reed has been tearing up the AA scene for the Mobile Baybears. He currently has a hit streak of 32 games and his stats are as follows
.592, 20 HR's, 66 RBI's and 38 SB's. He has to wonder when his call up will come with the numbers he has.

Just called up to the AAA Durham Bulls after hitting .250 at the end of April ... in the leadoff spot tonight in my AAA debut

After playing in the AA All Star game Byron Reed finally got the call up to the AAA Reno Aces! Got his first AAA hit which was a single, first AAA home run and stolen base all in the same game which was a loss to the Las Vegas 51's 4-3.
