Nothing based on sds. They seem to be doing things without giving details to what they are actually doing since the 1.08 power nerf. As soon as 1.09 released the velocity of normal swings were noticeably improved. It was such a vast contrast to 1.08 I think since the uproar from 1.08 they are being careful to what they list or say of what's being done.

I feel like they just base these batting patches on Diamond Dynasty hitting. Too many HR's in DD and they scale power across the game

Agree, this is feeling like NBA 2k, where online shooting bounced back and forth all year based on the community feedback, and offline gamers had to deal with the fallout.

I guess they feel offline users can configure their own sliders. This is why there are many different acounts to user experiences. Some are playing road to the show, franchise, some playing vs cpu games or play rated with regular teams. Not to mention different difficulty levels and configured sliders users may be using.

I hope they settle at a medium and stick with it. They should also have sticky threads on their site for each modes for hitting feedback specifically . So they can get a better idea of what users are experiencing separately, instead of everyone lumped in together which can cause confusing feedback.

Some of my observations from release date until current.

I played an entire season without adjusting any sliders and I noticed that my team hr/game went from 1.56 in the very beginning (this was a carryover save, so I never got the 600ft HR's or the 7-9 per game problems) to 1.28 by the end. Outside of Bryce Harper, who had 8 in the first half and 15 in the second, most of my players had lower second half numbers. My top two guys had 34 and 22 first half homeruns, in the second half they hit 18 and 11 respectively. I also noticed that batting averages dropped, almost across the board for my lineup as patches dropped. Overall I felt that the patches brought my team stats more in line with the stats within my league.
