    MLB The Show 19 Wishlisht

Here are a few things I'd like to see in MLB 19 The Show

    Franchise Mode:
    - I understand its a long shot but adding more minor leagues into the game to bring the roster total to rougly 100-120 or at least the teams for the highest single A affiliate
-Ability to turn off morale in Franchise.
    - Make scouting a little easier to navigate
    - Real contracts for MLB players with - Contract Clauses/No trade clauses
    - Viewing individual player stats/team records on trade screen
    - Being able to view minor league stats after the season on the player card
    - getting updates whenever a major event happens (4hr in a game, no hitter, perfect game, milestone)
    - Viewing Pitchers hitting stats (I can't see how many HR i hit with Ohtani)
    - Viewing Hitters pitching stats
    - Adding top 10-15 prospect lists for each team rather than just top 50 prospects
-Owner Mode (set prices for tickets, concessions, etc.)
    - Changing the effect salary has on morale. If you call up a player they are immediately unhappy with 80k whenever in real life they'd be making over 500k. Also how a player will want 2M in the offseason and then during the season they immediately want 7M after putting up good stats and it affects their performance.
    - Have an international signing pool of roughly 30-50 players.
    - Ability to trade cash
    - Have rumor mill for potential deals
    - GMs/Teams have "personalities" (I have often seen Harper get signed by the A's which would never happen)
-Make all MLB, AAA, AA, A managers, hitting, pitching, and base coaches all able to be edited.

    RTTS:
    1. Bring back the ability to have 99 rating attributes for everything
    2. Have the ability to buy different equipment items/personal items with the salary your team is paying you
    3. Ability to choose stadiums

    Diamond Dynasty:
    -Add Roberto Clemente
-Agree to only play offline in order get better cards (I have never played online in DD but it has gotten to the point where completing missions no longer makes sense because it takes so much effort to complete them)
-Making modern day players attributes possible to break the 99 cap because Mike Trout is better than Jackie Robinson technically but Jackie Robinson is more valuable in the game

    General:
-Bring back King of the Diamond
    -Fan appreciation mode
    -Pitching motion creator
-exterior views of stadiums (PNC Parks beauty hasn't been fully captured)
-I'd like to see the ability to add two way players as well

I didn't add stadium creator/relocation because SDS is fully aware that is something we want

custom leagues and divisions for historic rosters. I'd settle for just this one item for 19.
I doubt it will happen anytime soon though because of the amount of schedules that would be needed

your probably one of a scant few that would like the real faces again. they did it so they could get the players in their current team caps. not saying you didn't know that but thought I would put it out there

I have to admit.. for MLB 19, I've joined the crowd that clamours for a Create-a-Team/League/Stadium mode. For the first time, MLB 18 just felt stale to me. Not enough "new" to get my excitement up like it has since MLB 08.

If they could mimick NBA 2k's (fantastic) creation feature suite, and allow us to upload logos, customize leagues, etc., I think that would be a huge shot of excitement for the franchise.

Oooh, it's already time for one of these? If so...(and I'll try not to repeat anything from OP)...

*rotating interleague schedules so you don't play the same exact teams every year in a franchise

*bring back Season mode (I don't use it, but solidarity with those who were devastated by its quiet removal)

*ability to change the mow patterns in the stadium grass (lots of options and shapes, please)

*ability to toggle quirks ON/OFF (I don't like how quirks were implemented)

*make service time and career stats editable

*let us pick, a la carte, all the defensive positions a player can do (with physical attributes like speed/arm/defense and maybe games played helping to determine how good they are at each one)

*ability to learn pitches, ability for pitches and pitcher stamina to progress/regress, convert SP to RP "button"

*subtypes for pitches like sliders (is the movement more depth or is it more sweeping?)

*remove pitch edit glitch for CAPs and let us type in the average velo for each pitch

            *less blocky player models

*more realistic injury system, fewer "fractured skulls" and "torn ACL," more realistic baseball injuries and maybe tie injury "points" or something to each body part

as far as I'm concerned SDS can make all the attributes editable by typing in a number instead of using the slider bar. it's fine for actual 1-10 slider but when you go 0-99, argh gear grinder. every second counts.

Especially when, even after sliding all the way over to 99 or to 0, your pitch is still 3 or 4 MPH too fast or too slow.

This is in the game now, it’s just determined by the pitching motion. In addition to everything else listed here, I want more details/transparency on the effects each pitching motion has on pitches. Motion A is more deceptive than motion B, but motion B gives you more control. Or motion A works better for sliders and cutters and motion B is better for curveballs and changeups. I firmly believe this is already how the game works, they just keep this data hidden because it contributes to the variance of the results and they don’t want to “pull back the curtain”

                    Jordan brand-Cleats Batting gloves

                    Belgard elbow guards
Home and away cleat color options

2.Better commentary. I’m getting sick of hearing same 3 lines 15 times a game.
1.He is in the last year of his contract so he’ll be hitting the open market this offseason.
2.Star players like Judge Harper Trout all you hear is everyone like him and people are buying his jerseys.
3.He was drafted in the late rounds. Nothing is given to you when your drafted that far back.

                    3.Work on stadium atmosphere.
1.When your losing a game nobody is cheering.
2.When your pitcher has a bad outing you get booed or if your RTTS player or even in franchise is struggling at the plate you get booed.
3.If your winning crowd is standing up cheering. You hit a homer in crowd goes wild.
4.If your playing your teams rival they get booed.
WE NEED CROWN EMOTION AND ANIMATIONS.
                    Make this game more realistic.

5.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get rid of Retro Mode. Should’ve only been a one year thing. Nobody plays it. All that space it takes up in the game could go elsewhere.

Re: MLB The Show 19 Wishlisht

My list, which may be repetitive on some things others mentioned, but they are important so I'll mention them again.

                      fix bunts

bring back season mode and online franchise

Full edits. Let edit everything. faces, height, weight, contracts, you name it. More control is always better.

manager/coach traits. Have guys who are old school. Guys who are all in on analytics, shifts, pitch counts, etc. Have these traits impact how they manage/coach and impact player ratings and if players want to sign there.

GM traits. Same concept. A new school guy will be more reluctant to sign a slap hitting speedster with a low OBP. An old school guy will be more likely to sign or draft a guy who is a great bunter.

Retired players can enter the coach/GM/Manager pool

Expand rosters. Real teams have 5 or 6 (more?) A affiliates. I'd settle for a full 100 with a full A ball roster but ideally 125. And ideally that A ball roster isn't playable but shows stats, similar to NBA2k with the G League.

Non roster invitees for spring training.

Ability to do extensions during the season.

                      Player/team options

no trade clauses, full and limited

revamp budget system. the current one is really confusing

More stats. Track everything. Use NBA2k as the baseline. more focus on milestones and records. Immersion would treat milestones as much bigger deals

Turn off morale. I like the concept, but it was slapped together and hasn't been touched since. They both need to really work on it AND allow it to be turned off if you don't want it.

Trade delay needs to be brought back and allow rejection of trades between CPU using this function.

better injury system. More small injuries, greater variety.

figure out how to lessen balls hitting the pitcher.

                      rotating interleague schedules.

                      real contracts

teams trade/free agency based on real life. end the player for player deals. 90% of baseball trades are one team dumping salary and getting prospects and the other taking on a vet.

expansion/create a stadium. again look at nba2k on this

More stats - like RTTS, I want to see a breakdown of performance by count for a hitters and pitchers
Bunting - a slider to resolve existing issues
Presentation - a dugout reporter for things like injuries etc.
                        More SOTS space
Franchise - promotional games (bobblehead, t-shirt giveaways, etc.
Franchise - broadcast (tv/radio) sales, ad sales for inside the ballpark/screens, more options for revenue earning generally

Custom Shifts( being able to drag and drop players and save that specific shift to use in any game)

Everyone's covered a lot of what I'd like to see from Franchise/Owner mode...so what I'd really like to see is an in-game way to see where I am at while trying to complete Diamond Dynasty missions.

Google Docs and good old fashioned pen and paper are OK, but an in-game way to see how many strikeouts, hits, plate appearances, etc. I need to complete arcs would be incredibly helpful.

                              3. Two Way players(obviously make then few and far if theyre in draft)

                              10. More trade slots
                              11. Better trade logic

                              18. Rotating interleague schedule. But thats not happening. So let us pick a few teams to schedule for interleague games
                              19. Ability to select any position for secondary position

                              More slider options like:
                              Catcher arm strength/accuracy

                              Catcher and pitcher reaction speed
(Every pitcher is a gold glover and same with catchers)

                              Infield and outfield range
(Not every player should be Ozzie Smith. Not every player can make the jump throw, can jump 5 feet for a ball or range a football field to make a catch)
Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit Tigers
Pittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay Packers
