Would love these so much! Would be a great way to separate the catchers.

Even better, if there was a way of extending that idea to include chemistry between a pitcher and a catcher, such that your number two catcher might catch for your number one pitcher.

I think the biggest thing on my wishlist is the ability to start a franchise “today”. Like NBA 2k has, being able to start a Franchise with today’s rosters with the Up to date stats and records. With playoff baseball starting up and being busy the past couple weeks, I think it would be so beneficial to be able to start a franchise without having to sim through the entire year to get to the true date. Anyone else?!

I had another great (in my mind) idea. When it comes to different pitching rotations we see today - 3/4 man postseason rotations or how the rays have a huge bullpen where they send out an “opener” and then have numerous arms come out and pitch 1-2 innings.

How beneficial would it be to have the option to toggle up to 2 spots in the rotation, to make those spots unoccupied - so with having two unoccupied spots, you can have those two starters in the bullpen or even bring in two more relievers to your bullpen to avoid have an “invalid roatation error”.

I think if you had a option to press triangle to toggle the 4th or 5th spot on the rotation to occupy it or not. I have a pic attached of the point I’m trying to get across.

In my eyes, I think this would be the answer we’ve been looking for postseason rotations or short week rotations which we see quite often.

- Rotating schedules and not the same ones in franchise mode (this is a must.) no more excuses!
- More stat overlays during a game. standings, stat leaders etc..
- Newspaper layout for news around the league and scores, stats, injuries etc. (someone has done something similar on OS and it looks incredible!)
- League expansion
- Stadium creator/editor

I’d like to see downloadable logos that can be place in certain spots in the stadiums. Adding advertising signs on outfield walls or in the stands to replace the generic ones.

Make a quick substitution button so defensive changes can happen before the next inning starts similar to pitching changes. Also make it possible to keep pinch hitters in the game as defensive replacements.

Long shot here...add a second announcing team and make one of the broadcast options more of a generic “superstation” type telecast. Two man team that calls a much more barebones game with much less superfluous dialogue.

Have one of the broadcasts tailored for historical rosters, overlays look like something from the 80’s. Something along the lines of https://goo.gl/images/NhDXBd

Love all these ideas, but the one bolded is something I have been hoping for, for quite a while. Since the Matty V and gang broadcast your game as though its being shown on local affiliate tv, I'd like to see them take two guys on development team and have them commentate games that are not on the MLB Network. It would make those MLB Network games feel even more "special" with the theme specific graphics, presentation, and then commentary.

Also love the idea of having a LOGO vault similar to what NBA 2K does, where you can customize the advertising throughout the ballparks.

We have Sounds of the Show, how about Advertising of the Show.

1. Bring back Online Franchise: Make it similar to Madden's CFM so all of the features are shared online/offline.

2. Online Playoff Mode: Gives us the ability to set up an entire postseason with friends. Or have options to only play the World Series, start in the Division Series, or start in the League Championship Series. Make sure it has the playoff atmosphere and presentation.

-Relocation: I love the A's, but I'm not a big fan of the city of Oakland. Would love to move them to Sacramento or San Jose.

-Build-a-Stadium: This goes hand-in-hand with relocation, but if we never get relocation, it would be great to at least be able to build a new stadium. The A's will likely have a new stadium by 2023, and I like the Coliseum, but I would like to build my own vision of what an A's stadium would look like. In fact, the whole process the A's and Rays are going through right now show that the prospect of building a new stadium is pretty interesting. Designing, securing a location, and securing the funds could be nice systems added into Franchise.

-Expansion: I love the history of expansion in the MLB. Even if it were just two teams, it would be cool to see. They already have a solid uniform creation tool.

-Interchangeable MiLB Teams: Would be nice to have the option to swap AAA and AA affiliates every few years. Not a big deal, but could help keep things fresh.

-More League Immersion: The radio show is a cool idea, but to be honest, it's a bore to listen to. I'd rather have news splashes on the front tab to keep you notified on the big performances and playoff races going on in your league. It's very isolated how it is right now, which I know is by design to keep the focus on your team, but the league doesn't feel alive when you aren't seeing news in an exciting presentation.

-3 Team and Cash Trades

-Different Color Analysts: It would be nice to have different color analysts for different games. Have the same play by play guy, but have a different voice. I'm not a big fan of the current booth; not that they're bad, they just sound so similar to me. Would be nice to have things spiced up as they have it in NBA 2K.

-Dice-rolling Mode for Diamond Dynasty: Would love to see a mode where you take the cards you get from DD and play a Strat-O-Matic type game with dice rolls. I play about 10-20 hours of DD every year, and then I just get bored and move on to Franchise, exclusively. I would probably play DD every day if it had this board-game element to it. Conquest is by far my favorite part of DD, and this would be a cool extension. Heck, maybe even license Strat to be a part of it.


There's other stuff I'd like to see in, too, but I'm pretty satisfied with how the game plays in offline modes. I know there's been a lot of uproar about how the game plays online, but that's just not in my consciousness. Franchise could definitely use some things to help bring it to life, and I'd love to get more into DD if it had more ways to use the cards you get. For now, these are the big items that come to mind.

More statistical sorting. Last 7, last 14, last 30, at a minimum. Stupid that there all these stats being kept but you can't access them unless the CPU decided to tell you as a guy is coming to the plate.

There are a lot of stats that are recorded, but we only see/hear them during commentary or when there is an in game stat overlay. Give us full visibility to these stats like monthly stats, individual batter vs pitcher matchup stats and post season series stats. I know I can see the post season totals, but it would be nice to see how someone did in the LCS or how they are doing after a few games in the World Series

There have to be less flares next year. There have to be. The disparity between flares and balls fouled to the screen is just absurd. The result on a late swing inside cannot be a flare every time.

My only wish is keep the same game and just tune the AI, and fine tune inside the game. Also, do better with the rosters. I feel the rosters were just thrown together for 18 without much thought. Ne reason to add anything to the game or take anything out. Just FINE TUNE what you already have.
