Some features that I would like to see for franchise:

1) Being able to see a players energy bar before loading into the lineup screen, this will help a lot when deciding which pitchers or position players to call up if you need a spot start.

2) being able to see a pitchers pitch speed break down, a pitcher having 95 velocity can be very deceiving. It would help a lot being able to see the break down of their pitches

3) when looking at free agents being able to see the amount of options that they have left.

4) having spring training invites and being able to offer guys minor league contracts.

5) Having a hardcore mode, where contracts and trades are decided based on performance and not just attributes.

Not sure if I posted these before, but...

1. Rotating Interleague schedules. Please, please, please.

2. Better trade logic by the CPU. And bring back the, “pending trades,” screen that used to be there for us 30-Team controllers.

3. Playoff and World Series patches on uniform sleeves and hats. Every other sports game does it. The Show is the only one without this.

4. Individual uniforms for All-Star Game. I remember back during the PS3 days they said they’d be able to do it on PS4. Well, we’re near the end of the life cycle for the current consoles.... and we’re still waiting.

5. New tag and slide animations. Possibly attributes for them as well. Make some players better at tagging/sliding than others. As opposed to literally every player making a perfect tag every single time, which is what we have now. I knew this would be the case the moment I saw video for the new tags in this year’s game. The old system was better, because it was inconsistent. Which is the way it should be. Every tag should not be perfect, right on the hand or foot.

6. FOR THE LOVE... PLEASE make it so we don’t lose our number 800 times a year in Road to The Show.

They've tried to do this on the PS4. The issue is that with the different uniforms being shown at once, it causes the FPS to drop and lag.

I love managing a game but what's the use if your not gonna get past a season or two. One thing I would love to see is visuals for quick manage. I would love to actually see the results play out on the field. This way you can get through many more games

I'd love a practice mode within franchise. I know they have them on the main menu but I'd like to be able to do it from within franchise with your team. I started the season so good at poking the ball in to LF vs the overshift but now my timing is way off and I don't want to try and fix it during a game. Batting practice would be a huge help

My thinking for this particular wishlist

1. Rotating interleague schedules and not the same ones.
2. Rain Outs, Snow Outs, Inclimate weather...etc... Also make it manual if it rain, snow out, etc... Make the call and move it in a freelance kind of way into a different date in the calendar or even make it more like in real life.
3. Probably would not happen individual jerseys for the All-Star Game but I understand why it drops lag and FPS by a lot if it does.
4. Playoff and World Series patches, also downloadable DLC for memorial patches, etc. via an update or something (may not happen as well, but NBA 2k does that part right)
5. Next year there are a LOT, I MEAN A LOT of Neutral Sites in that schedule next year, 2 games to Start the year in Tokyo, Japan. Plus the Little League Classic in Williamsport, PA, Omaha, NE for the College World Series and even London, England, UK are all in the schedule for neutral site games. Plus Puerto Rico, Mexico and even Montreal (on the preseason schedule, see next point) was in as well for this year. And even Fort Bragg, NC the year or two before with that military game. With the growing amount of stadiums they should be incorporated in the game in all of the modes incorporate them in season with custom stadiums as well.
6. Classic Stadiums like Tiger Stadium, Astrodome, Yankee Stadium (1923-1973 model), Olympic Stadium and others should be added in hopefully.
7. Players Weekend Jerseys and Hats if possible, if the players. managers and developers sign off on this.
8. Blue Jays alternate hats, the Blue and White hats from the Classic look but with the current logo. The Current model is NOT in the game. One of the very few things NOT in this game at all.
9. Fix the 5gb and raise it to 7gb or something on the Sound of the Show so all the 30 teams gets in the game in some form or another.
10. Keep all the current and throwback jerseys and get some new ones in the game like the 1992-2004 Expos jersey, Padres 1984 jersey and others, etc.
11. Realistic Contracts if possible
12. Concession Sales, Owner Mode
13. Online Franchise and a Season Mode if people want to play it.
14. Special Hats and Jerseys for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Fourth of July etc....
15. Spanish and other foreign Commentary as a option(All-Star Baseball had the Spanish Language option in the PS2 days if I remember right same with NBA 2K as well). I suggest Spanish, Japanese, Korean, French Canadian and even Dutch due to the growing amount of players from International countries.
16. Create a Stadium
17. International Pool Money, and trade for Cash Considerations a must, add a third team for trades if needed as well. Make it up to Four if possible.
18. Two-Way Players like Ohtani (make it easier, instead of subbing players so he can play)
19. Custom expansion and schedules like on the NBA 2K series and make even custom divisions if needed.
20. Social Media feeds, like on NBA, Madden and even NHL. MLB needs to get that in one way or another. Players, Media, etc... Could help or suffer in their ratings as well.
21. Custom Playoff Brackets up to 16 teams if I remember MLB 2K5 had that option and other games in the past had it as well, will be an interesting feature if brought up.

In franchise mode, make all prospects available for the draft every year.

It's so stupid to waste time scouting multiple closers only to find out not a single player at the position is even in the draft.

It's also stupid to get to the sixth round and they've run out of prospects before they get to your pick.

In real baseball, every draft-eligible player is in the draft pool every year. Most don't get picked. Some get picked but don't sign. I don't need the latter in this game. It wouldn't work with how minor-league contracts currently work anyway, and CPU teams have enough trouble managing their budgets without draft picks commanding huge salaries. But I REALLY want to be able to pick from the full pool, and undrafted players just go back into the prospect pool for the next season.

I'm fairly tired of spending time scouting only to get to the draft and see that it's a crap shoot with awful prospects past my first pick or two.

The draft should be an important part of any franchise mode. Not something you spend three minutes on, with two-thirds of that time being random guesses.

Not being able to expand all rosters on 9/1 is a bummer. I have 30 team control and haven’t been able to do it with any team.

Yeah, can't until the minors playoffs are over (or your farm team is eliminated) I believe.

And my wishlist is pretty much "do what OOTP does off the field".

That's basically my summation of MLB19 wishes for franchise mode. I don't think MLB19's franchise mode is horrible, but when I play OOTP, I'm in franchise and GM heaven with how fleshed out and such the whole baseball world (literally the world with as many of the world's pro and indy baseball teams you want) is.

If The Show can start to capture that, especially in the form of scouting International players (and scouting in general), that would be excellent.

First of all thank you for adding the blue and white Brooklyn Dodger hat with a white B on it that leads me to my other request please add an "M" do the red and blue Atlanta Braves hat so that I can reminisce about the Milwaukee Braves.
I love the new adjustable batting stances I know that it's the first attempt at it and there are some kinks in the armor looking forward to improvement in 2019 and adding the ability to bend over at the waist Plus being able to stop the bat movement.
At one point players would wear high Stirrup socks and lower there pant legs halfway or so that would be a nice option.
I would love the option of loose sleeves that you could start at the wrist and slide as far up as you want.
Old school equipment would be a nice addition for people that build rosters from legendary players of the past.
I would love to have a season with 16 teams
It would be fun to have the fans dressed in 1950 Style clothes.
It would be fun to allow us to create and upload and download old classic advertisements that were pasted on the Outfield fences. Anything nostalgic would just add so much color and flavor thank you

During the loading screen, they have fun stats that you can cycle through before the game actually starts. I would prefer these stats to show up periodically during the game as stat overlays to spice up presentation.

Also, usually there are fun but unreadable stats that show up on the scoreboard in the ballpark during a players first at bat . I would like those to show up as part of the player walk up stats instead.

Don't make Rtts like the journey(FIFA) or long shot (madden) , resources can better be used. Archetype should be removed, let us play how we wanna play. I don't know how many guys played online franchise, but it must be wicked playing with friends an franchise mode. Change back the player lock like it was in mlb 15, where it was in Lineups or pitch rotation. Playoff patches on jerseys, special equitment for 4th July, Mother's Day, and so on. Ask for trade to a specific team, division.
