First I want to thank Chibhawksrule, Caulfied, J.Tommy67 and Kehlis for responding to my post.

If this should happen this is how to correct the problem:
1. Go to Main Menu.
2. Select Game Play Options
3. When you find General section click R2.
4. Go down list until you locate EJECTIONS and click ON.

Now when a pitcher hits a batter both teams are warned. If the pitcher deliberately hits another batter he is ejected from the game. I am grateful to the people who took the time to help make MLB The Show more realistic. Thank you.

hey, Blzer, watch me pull an ejection out of my glove.

coincidentally, I have become quite adept at knocking batters off their feet w/o actually plunking them. its a little mini-game of sorts I like to occasionally play, especially against the Phillies and Mets
