Carryover franchise save or start new?

Just wondering what you franchise guys were planning on doing. I have a carryover with the OSFM from 19 so the real minors isn’t super important. I suppose the only reason I’d start a new franchise in 20 is if they cleaned up the contract issues.

What are you guys planning on doing?

I was fully prepared to transfer over (I’ve always started new) but with the full minors im going to have to start new because of a couple of reasons.

More accurate rosters
Face scans for top prospects(!)
In future games after 20 these minor leagues will technically be SCEA players and will be much easier to transfer year to year.

Carry over and then relocate. Pirates are 12 games out of the wild card with 32 games left to play. I'll play until mathematically eliminated and then sim to the off season and relocate.

One thing I'm not sure about is whether progression resets if you carry over prior to the end of the season.

Carrying over could risk missing out on new commentary and stats if said stats don’t exist in the save file. If that’s something you’re interested in I would recommend starting anew.

I’m carrying over my save file that I’ve had for a long time and also plan on starting a brand new franchise.

You will be able to import a roster from 19 into a new franchise in 20 (first time we've had that).
