We put this together ASAP since some peeps were really eager to be big mad about this, so at least you can use this to either be FURIOUS or look at how they compare etc.

beyond disappointing.  Guess we see why they hid the next gen version to the last moment.  No improvements at all. Game looks 100% identical.  Knew the deathblow awas going to box this year; all the resources were put to going cross platform.  This next gen has been the worse cycle I've ever seen in my 30 tears of gaming.  Everything is lazy, expensive and just horrible from consumer standpoint.

Lol some people. And if they made graphics better this year people would complain that that’s all they did, where the stadium creator we been asking for? Where’s this and that. Things take longer than one year to do, it’s a difficult job. The graphics will eventually get better. Bet

Wow it’s almost identical 😳 so the only difference between next Gen & last is create a stadium and ps4 gets sounds of the show.

Probably can divide up this thread in two camps

1. Bought a next gen system and will be happy with said new features/ game.

2. Couldn’t find/didn’t look for next gen so will try to use this as justification to make themselves feel better.

Haha see the trick is if you go over to our YouTube channel and comment on it there, you can get away with far more toxicity.

Is there an HDR setting this year?

Can’t find it. I think it standard switches to HDR if your Playstation is set to HDR.

What about having a next gen system and not being happy?
I have a ps5 but am disappointed about no y2y saves and no sounds of the show.

I’m sure the gameplay improvements are nice, but I’m still going to skip it.
I expected a bit more from next gen, call me naive.

Forget the graphics. It's the animations from the PS3 era (maybe older?) that has this game looking or at least feeling the same year after year. The game just seems to lack a "pop", or "zip" to it, things just seem sluggish. I really wish they could learn something from a Japanese baseball game like Pro Yakyuu Spirits, in terms of animations and player model fluidity. (I really hate how awful the players look when they turn they head up to the sky to track the baseball, it's like their head is about to detach from their neck, it's immersion breaking.) And I would be disingenuous if I said the whole $70/$60 for longtime PlayStation players and basically "free" for new xbox gamers doesn't leave a foul taste in my mouth...
