WASSUP 2K Fam?!?! 2K looks freaking incredible this year and I can't wait to dive into it (sorry social life and grades). Last years sliders were a huge success thanks to all of your guys testing and giving feedback and I'm hoping for the same success this season!

Re: ThatMichiganFan's NBA 2K17 AllStar Simulation Sliders

Hey brother! Glad to see you'll be back in action.

I used your last 2k sliders as a base and then made a blend of yours, sim world's, and my own to get the gameplay I was looking for.

One thing I'll say is this game plays very very fluid out of the box if you haven't noticed. I slowed the game speed down to 46-48 to get a slower pace and it still plays very smoothly.

Having a rough time deciding what needs editing since I'm a huge player tendency editor also (still Tmac with 50 shot tendency and 50 touches smh).

Overall I am very very pleased with what we get to start with out of the box. Interested to hear your thoughts.

Re: ThatMichiganFan's NBA 2K17 AllStar Simulation Sliders

Alright, Ive played one full 12-Min quarter game and a few random quarters with different teams. Here are my initial impressions:

*All Star Difficulty, 48 game speed, No slider changes*
      • CPU Points in the Paint is still a bit high. They are taking and making too many interior shots.
      • There were plenty of fouls, even with default sliders.
      • Steals looked and felt good, might need to lower CPU a tad.

This game is pretty great already, so hopefully won't have to make too many tweaks. Gotta play some more games before I begin to make tweaks though.

      HAPPY 2K DAY Everybody!

totally agree, default is not bad at all. maybe something for floaty passes as well?

Hey guys. I've been pretty busy the last week or so with school and other stuff, but I have done a bit of testing and I think I've figured some things out. Have a few exams this week, but I plan on finalizing a test set and releasing it this weekend! Keep playing and let me know if you find anything you think might need tweaking!

Okay, I should have a set out at some point this weekend, plan on diving in deep tonight/tomorrow. Some of the main things I'm still trying to tweak:
            • Steals. Trying to eliminate floaty passes, but still keep a decent amout of turnovers while not going overboard with steals.
            • On-ball defense. It just needs a tiny tweak that will hopefully limit the suction that happens when you blow by a guy.
            • Try to cut down on CPU making contested jumpers.
            • Stamina. Still not sure how I feel about this.

BTW- I've been using 47 game speed and gotten the best results.

I've tried lower game speeds and I'm just not happy with how slow jump shot animations and dribble moves (especially step backs) play out. But then again higher game speeds cause other problems.

Yeah there's definitely pros/cons with it. I just think the game is a bit smoother with it. I can deal with slightly slower animations (I raised quickness a bit and it helped with this some).

Yea that's the unfortunate part, it's more "realistic feeling" at higher game speeds, but things start to look a little too twitchy. It's more "realistic looking" at lower game speeds, but players take forever to pull-up for shots, close out on shooters, and pull off shot-creating dribble moves.

Not only that, but I've played a few games where 48 game speed felt/looked fast, and games where 52 game speed felt/looked slow. I don't know what to think sometimes.

Yeah it's honestly personal preference. Sometimes 47 looks quick, other times it feels like I'm running in mud. I've gotten the best results with it so far though.

2K brothers, HERE WE GO! Finished some final tweaks this morning and finally got a beta set to release. It has been added to the OP and uploaded onto 2K share under TMF 9/24.

Let me know what you think and share your game stats! Feedback is always welcome!

Noticed you don't have fouls sliders maxed out. Are you actually getting multiple loose ball / over the back fouls per game with these sliders?

Sadly, I don't see many of either. When I raise them too high, it screws with the other fouls too much. I do see about 1-2 charges per game and a few blocking fouls per game as well.

Hey TMF, curious but what kind of FG%'s are you seeing with your sliders and how many games have you tested these on so far?

I've seen a wide range of FG % from both User and CPU. I had one game where the CPU Blazers came out on fire, hitting 6-6 threes and shot nearly 65% in the quarter. But I've also had games where the CPU struggles to hit anything, including a game where Toronto started the game 1-10 from 3pt range.

I've played probably 6 full games, but I've played many miscellaneous quarters and halfs with multiple teams testing other various sliders and mechanics, CPU tendencies, etc.
