Do you miss Association Mode?

Is it just me or does anyone else miss Association Mode? I thought we were going to get a game similar to Madden in which you could still have an Association Mode/GM hybrid in which you could setup the depth of integration of created players and so much more.

Honestly MyGM is a major disappointment. The fact that they implemented VC into it makes my even angrier. Something else is that I can't simulate the season because then I'll receive no VC for the entire season and cannot upgrade any of my skills. Along with this, why can't I actually choose the contract I offer to a player instead of always offering about 500k less than what they ask for.

To fix that when you are at the contract negotiations, rotate the left joystick clockwise a few seconds and it will drop down to let you change the values

My biggest complaint is who has time for 82 Damn games. Can't believe ppl haven't complained more about this its absurd

Exactly. The fact that you only can get VC from playing the games and forcing you to do 82 game seasons is ridiculous. Even worse is that if you sim to end you still get no VC, basically forcing you to play every minute of every game. I just really don't get the logic in forcing all of that.

150,000 man hours!!! Hahahahaha more like 5 hours. 2k should be ashamed of themselves. All that hype for a piss poor product. They better be glad im not rich or id use 2k as my weed plate. Smh

I wish it was implemented into.MyGM somehow. Ive settled with myGM. I plan on playing the full season to see if I can.

The AI roster management logic has always been poor. It's just as bad.

For years we've been asking for more "safety valves". More user control and administrative features that allow us to dictate the direction each team takes within our Association.

Not only do I miss Association mode but I'm even more disappointed with the lack of control. We're now forced to play their fantasy not ours.

The most fundamental aspect of consumer satisfaction has been completely ignored here. The ability to shape the league our way.

They took one highly marketed mode in MyPlayer, looked over the skewed data farmed from an online connection then arbitrarily determined that we all now want a RPG in place of sim basketball.

It's why I had to fork out for the PC version. I can't handle the VC controlled GM mode.

Not terribly anymore. I really like most of the additions that MyGM brings. Just wish that the VC wasn't integrated into the mode.

I agree. For example you get a special skill with VC, yet you need VC to use it? That was unexpected.

This makes me glad I didn't get PS4 and 2K14. From what I read online, MyGM is ruined by VC because it makes it so you can't be good at MyGM and MyCareer without buying VC.

I don't hate MyGM, it's actually the mode I play the most. But I'll say that I did expect more when it was announced.

At the time of the announcement of MyGM I was excited to hear that the boring old days of the spreadsheet filled association had been replaced with a more interesting mode. Looking back on that I feel dumb, as I miss association mode. I mean seriously, why should I have to pay VC to change my rotations? Also dislike the fact that you can only create 5 total saves between MyGM and my career.

Looks like Madden has 2k beat in this area.
