Obviously, I don't know since I don't have the game, but this is very much needed since forever...

At least, there should be random games when your team plays with an alternate or a throwback (10-15 games per season)

They haven't announced anything about MyCareer yet so noone knows.
Since we get full customization in MyLeague we might be getting more options in MC too. But nothing's been announced.

Oh I would LOVE this. or at least if you don't select them then have the jerseys change anyway for like christmas, thanksgiving, or whatever.

This has been requested ever since the mode was first introduced. How it's been ignored all this time is mind blowing. I personally tweeted every dev I could find on Twitter to ask can we finally have them this simple addition added. I really hope that someone listens

I hope they put this in. I wonder if they don't because the mod is called myPlayer. A player doesn't get to pick the teams Jersey for that game. But that leads me to an additional question. Is that why 2k won't give us the option to control the whole team? If anything, you should be required to player lock in key games. But why can't we have the option to control the whole team? I get tired of having to have the ball 90% of the time and put up 40 to win. I pass to open shooters and they pump fake, no shot, so no assists. This topic goes hand in hand with the why can't we switch jerseys. I guess its either A. Its myPlayer, not myTeam. or B. 2k just didn't feel like it.


We should have both the option to switch jerseys and control one player or the whole team. Plus, free agency...

Did NBALive ever have this option in their "MyCareer" mode? I understand why sliders could and should never be implemented but changing jerseys is strictly cosmetic and doesnt effect gameplay at all. I dont get why this seems so hard for them to do.

I'm very curious what makes this complicated. I obviously have never made a video game and know nothing about the process. But it seems like this would be a very easy addition. The game already let's u select uniforms in other modes for both teams playing. How is adding the exact same feature that has already been coded before tip off of a MyCareer game the same as it is present for a quick game complex?

Czar, any chance we could get an official word from say Simballer or any dev pertaining to this area and why it isn't a simple addition? You have to understand from our perspective, it seems very easy to add, as this feature already exists in multiple incarnations throughout the game. It seems odd to think that placing the same menu after the player has selected to play next game during MyCareer would be difficult. We would love feedback. Thanks

In MLB: The Show, in the RTTS mode, the computer automatically chooses alternates and throwbacks for some games, and if teams have a schedule as to when they wear their alternates, then the game represents that automatically.

That's the way i think it should it be in MyCareer, i don't think you should have the choice because the player doesn't actually have the choice. But alternates should be automatically worn some games.
