You can do whatever in the default pro mode but superstar sim that cheese goes out the window.

I saw the CPU try to dunk on 3 of my brothers players and blew the attempt and fell to the floor no foul

you all will see, this can, and will be done on superstar once people catch on.

go to practice and do the exact same thing. from the back court, sprint at the defender and crossover 3 to 4 feet in front of them and watch them sit stuck in mud as you slash into the paint.

You're saying it's not defendable ?

you can manually move your defender back as they approach, but there are a number of situations where its a pain to over-compensate for. Ive boosted on ball, and d awareness to 60 to help.

It's a ratings thing, players w/ high dunk ratings get these kind of animations and 2K insists on buffing guards' dunk ratings to the point where they can do stupid things.

LaVine is a great athlete but he played SG rather than PG in college for a reason. He is also young. The fact that he plays like prime Derrick Rose is indicative that 2K still has a ways to go w/ righting the ship (though casuals who pay the bills certainly prefer the ease of dunking).

Re: NBA 2K15 Gameplay...a bit worrisome

lol just change your defensive settings like I did with John Wall

You defend angles not try to keep up speed for speed always

Wall is quick as heck and I got him good with strategy. There are alot of options for you to use for a reason

Also I dont know what BEDs roster update will look like but it certainly will be a bit different than this one.

So you are saying if you are not in control of the defender you are getting dunked on? Can you do this on in game Superstar Sim purposely cheese the game and it will let you finish. The two things to stop this would be take the charge or stay in the paint.
