Youtubers are out here making your game look bad publicity isin't always good publicity. I knew it had to be on pro difficulty because the CPU should have been doing something to combat the drives. I mean Lakers don't have the best defense but they are not that bad.

Subthegamer basically did a bait and click to get more subscribers/views. That is what I see in my eyes

"Look bad" is subjective. How many of the masses you think are flipping out about what's being discussed on this thread? I don't think very many at all. NOTE: THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE POTENTIAL ISSUE SHOULD BE DISMISSED!

Add this to the points I made in a previous post and I don't know why folks are jumping off the deep end before actually playing the game for themselves.

It's actually VERY entertaining in its absurdity.
It's been stated that this occurs on higher difficulties. Not just the video which we all knew was on lower levels.

Oh. Well then, that's it. Kingofthecouch says it's a issue. So it must be true.

Not saying you can't do this to people, but do you really think that a player v player game where the defender is doing the proper drop is still vulnerable here?

If we really think this is an issue, then where are the posts trying to figure out WHY it's too strong? Are the defender movement mechanics not adequate? Are the sprint crosses too powerful? What should VC fix? Let's make this thread actually USEFUL.

Read the thread, others WITH the game have stated the same thing. Don't be condescending when you are just playing devils advocate and have no clue as you don't have game and then basically dismiss everyone who has the games opinions.

Hey dude, I actually read the thread AND have the game. :P

I'm not just playing Devil's advocate. I'm trying to get to the ROOT of the issue if there is one. All anyone has said is that it's a problem here and here. But few are offering useful details.

I've dropped 51 points in 2K14 with Iman Shumpert (80 Dunk) in an Online Quick Match. It's widely known that anyone who can dunk is easy to score with. This has been the case for years and is getting highlighted by MyTeam. People will run with the likes of Robert Pack (98 dunk) who might as well be Westbrook.

Austin Rivers (77 dunk) is widely known to be a MyTeam superstar and Zach LaVine will have a better dunk rating. Shooting percentages are far from realistic in 2K because it's too easy to get dunks regardless of difficulty. There are many factors that go into this but the most controllable one is ratings.
That... I can live with a mediocre player on low levels beasting with any one aspect especially when the AI took it away after the first quarter but when its the same aspect the game lacks balance. It's not Rubio's passing, Pek's muscle or Dieng's shot blocking its a mid-round rookie's dunk rating. Too familiar.

"Look bad" as in what the design intent of the gameplay team. You think this video displays what they want representing their game? I still stand by my comment it looks bad for what they they the gameplay team would want.

Now maybe a casual gamer doesn't care ok maybe this is good to them. Maybe LD2K has no issue with it haha I don't know maybe someone in sales/or marketing doesn't care as long as more people buy the game. I was speaking in terms of Beds and the gameplay team. If this was the case we can go head and make an NBA Jam 2K version.

2 headed said he thinks it's because CPU AI defender just stands still or is to slow and doesn't backpedal or gets stuck in mud feel. It seems to be when guys sprint at CPU and then cross from what I'm getting from all the posts.

Is it roster issue? Agility, lateral quickness? Is it just bad CPU AI not knowing to play angle? Idk... I think he's making videos to see the problem on high difficulty levels. But who knows, maybe patch on day 1 fixes all this?
